Uyuni - Arrive in Uyuni at 7:30 a.m. and enjoy some free time to buy snacks and water. Later, meet your guide at the office and start the tour at 10:30 a.m. with a visit to the Salar de Uyuni. Begin at the Train Cemetery, a famous and picturesque location on the town’s outskirts. Proceed to Colchani, where you can see local crafts made from salt and textiles from llama and alpaca wool. Explore the expansive salt flats, visit the Ojos de Agua Salada, and stop at a salt hotel now serving as a museum-restaurant.
Enjoy lunch along the way before heading to Incahuasi Island, where you can hike among giant cacti and fossil-like rock formations (weather permitting). Capture creative perspective photos on the salt flats, then unwind while watching a breathtaking sunset with a glass of wine. Return to Uyuni between 7:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Proceed to the bus office at 8:30 p.m. for your 9:00 p.m. departure to La Paz.
