Absolute Must-Do: Stunning Islands & Great Organization (Read for Sea Sickness Tip!) - This shared day trip to Praslin & La Digue by Ocean Blue Travel Seychelles is an absolute must-do. The islands are genuinely stunning—photos do not do them justice.
My biggest tip: The one-hour speed boat ride over to Praslin can be rough, and we had huge breakers on the day we went. Seriously, take a motion or sea sickness tablet beforehand, even if you don't usually need one.
Once we were on La Digue, the organization was fantastic. Ocean Blue handled the lunch arrangements for the whole group, and they also took care of the cycle hire, which makes getting around the island so much easier and more fun.
A great practical detail: If you visit Anse Source d’Argent (the famous beach), there are showers available right there, which is perfect for rinsing off the salt and sand before you leave.
It’s all worth the effort. La Digue and Praslin are unbelievably beautiful, and my only regret is that one day is simply not enough time to enjoy everything.

Incredible journey - Very pleasant experience and in very good price. You will see most important attractions on both islands. First in Praslin u will get to know some facts bout coco de mer and after that u will have 2 options forest or beach. I highly recommend going for the forest even tho it's paid ~35€per person (if u're like us who have been on every beach on Mahe). After bout 1.5h on the beach/forest u will head to La Digue. Here u will have the option to take bikes and explore on ur own after going to restaurant or take a tour bus. I definitelly recommend here going for the bikes. Incredible experience. U can stop and take pictures, go to restaurant, do everything u want to do including of course going to la union estate with anse d sergent beach (highly recommend). As bout the boat and taxi from hotel everything seems fine. Captaing is higly skilled and taxi driver is kind and very punctual. Definitelly recommend

Beautiful tour - Beautiful way to experience both islands. We had a wonderful day! The boat ride was rough, but we expected this so we took dramamine before. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour with an amazing guide - It was an amazing tour, except for the boat ride because the sea was rough (though of course that's not the company's fault — it's just the time of year we did the tour). Daniela was the guide who accompanied us on this trip, and she was fantastic, explaining everything with great enthusiasm and friendliness. I would definitely do another tour with this company, but next time during a season when the sea is calmer, as I don’t quite have a sailor’s stomach 😅. Still, don’t let that stop you — the landscapes and beaches more than make up for it!

Reliable Tour Guide - We booked with Ocean Blue our day trip to Praslin & La Digue.
It's well organised and reliable. Staff is good, including their partners on the islands (e.g. the bicycle guy in La Digue brought back an iphone that we had left in the bicycle basket).
I'm giving 4/5 because I felt the schedule was too rushed. You gotta show up at 6:45am but the boat doesn't depart until 7:30am.
In Praslin, there is only time to see Anse Lazio (beautiful) but for no longer than 1 hour. Then onto La Digue where time only allowed us to see Anse Source d'Argent but not the other bays in the South of the island because at 3:00pm we had to be on our way back. And we arrived back in Mahé well before 5pm with still c.2 hours of daylight.
If anything they could just gather folks at 8:00am or leave more time on the island

Very nice activity! - Overall a very good day! Crew was nice and beaches beautiful. Biking on La Digue is fun! Lunch was good as well. Best for adults or older children as the boat trips can be rough depending on the weather. Make sure to bring own water as the water from the tour group is quite limited. Alternatively there are places to buy drinks on the beaches.

Overall good arrangement - Overall good but would appreciate we got some water included in the lunch and also a small snack along side the full day. Really positive is that with this trip you manage to see Praslin + La Digue in one and the same day

Not worth the money - Very overpriced!
The weather didn't play along!
You only visit the beaches and are mostly on the bus or on the boat!
The food was good though!
La Digue was unfortunately not quite worth it- was grey and rainy and not nice as in the pictures

If you get seasick, you will be - We recently did the Praslin & La Digue trip through Mamila Charter. Our main concern is the boat trip. I live on an island and frequently in boats and yachts and used to rough conditions, and have done for over 30 years. The day we travelled, the conditions were not too bad, but the boat was travelling too fast for tourists not used to travelling at speed. Passengers were panicked and lifting the seats to put on their life jackets on, others were vomiting and the majority were not comfortable. When speaking to the tour guide, it was clear that they had no intention to reduce the speed, saying that the passengers were fine, and that they had to go that fast as it would not be stable, it was clear that they had a prepared spiel saying that it was a mono hull, it was windy season etc. The boat crew have their agenda and will not veer from this to accommodate passengers. If you get seasick, then you will on this boat. Even though I am used to fast boats, sailing and don't get sea sick, it was not a pleasurable experience, where you can look around and take in the view. We noticed some passengers had not done the return journey. I would suggest that a better alternative is the passenger ferry, it is easy enough to get to the same beaches visited in the tour. The ferry is a much larger vessel, that would cope better with the crossing. When leaving Mahe harbour, the boat caught a buoy in the prop, which the crew cut and threw in the harbour, which is bad practice as it still there for another boat and you should inform the owner and offer to replace. The crew, completely ignored the 5 knot limits in the harbours, which his a global standard. The tour on the island was ok and the guide knew facts about the island. The meal on la digue was very average, the whole package was not good value. This company will not change, but i feel compelled to advise that the boat trip could ruin your experience and that there is a better alternative.
