Amazing experience - Hands down, this was the best tour! It was only 14 people and is not a party tour. Be prepared for longer than expected pick up times since they do go to each hotel to get each group. We were picked up at 5:45am and didn’t get to the actual boat until 8am. The knowledge the tour guide had of the islands history, culture, and people was so interesting. The food was good and the locations they took us to felt very private. It’s worth going early because you avoid all of the crowds.

Don't think about it, just book!!! - From start to finish, this was the most amazing tour, and honestly, maybe the best tour I have ever been on. What many others have has is true. The whole crew is attentive, welcoming, and a pleasure to be around. The tour guide, Melvin, picked us up at the security gate of our property, and we met up with the van that had the rest of the group going on tour. From there, we had about a 40-minute drive to the marina to the boat departure. We stopped at a rest stop to grab some snacks. We were given a great history lesson on the way, which helped kill some time and was very informative. The only somewhat downside of the trip was that the van was at max capacity and made it cramped, but it was doable, plus the van had wifi. The rest of the trip was 15 out of 10. The small village,breakfast, turtle sanctuary, beach, lunch, and snorkeling were great. If you are in the Punta Cana area, this is an absolute must do. It's great for solos, couples, and families. THIS ISN'T A BOOZE CRUISE. This is a more personal excursion that you will love. When we come back with our kids, this will be on the list for sure.

Great experience- Melvin is the best! - We had a great time on this excursion. Melvin was a great host, tour guide, kind, and very knowledgeable. The excursion felt very personal. It was a small group of us and we were happy with the time we were able to spend at Saona Island compared to the other tours we saw. The beach is beautiful and the water is crystal clear and is what you see in the movies. We were at the main beach for around 3 hours or so and then went to the “natural pool” for a little and saw some starfish. One tip - bring bug spray for the mosquitoes on saona island. The snorkeling at the end was also very cool. Thanks again to Melvin for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend over those other tours.

Small and relaxing boat trip - We wanted a small relaxing boat trip and we got just that. We were well looked after by Melvin, he gave us a history lesson on the Dominican Republic which was great. My one issue was the mosquitoes at the turtle sanctuary are awful, I got over 20 bites and I don’t normally get bitten! So go prepared and take bug spray! You will have an amazing trip, well worth it

Absolutely phenomenal - Oh my goodness. This was the BEST trip ever. Melvin and the team were absolutely amazing. The trip was informative, relaxed and so, so, so enjoyable. The food was superb and the service, knowledge and expertise of Melvin and the crew was second to none. Also knowing that you're supporting the local communities and the island is great. The best tour ever! - This is a must when visiting Punta Cana! Especially this tour! From start to finish this tour was incredible. We got to the island before everyone which really made our experience! Later on in the day you could just see the heard of big party boats coming, when we had already been there for a few hours. The tour guide took so many photos for us and airdropped them at the end of the trip which was a such a fun touch. Honestly could not recommend this more! It is a very long day so be prepared but it was fun nonetheless! thank you so much! xxx

Solo traveler experience - What a great excursion! Melvin was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge. I appreciated the early start to beat the crowds. This tour was a little more expensive than others, but it was worth it (plus the company gives back to the community in Manojuan). The food was great. The vibes were chill. The captain and his first mate were helpful and accommodating. Even the other guests were great! If you really want to see Saona island and learn about the history and culture there, book this excursion.

WORTH YOUR MONEY! - Took this trip with my mom. I read the reviews before booking and it got me excited. Yes, there are tours that are way cheaper but I want a good experience, you only do this once right? I got some great pictures since we arrived early and the mass groups weren't there yet. The mass groups boats were packed and I was glad I didn't book it with those companies. For each their own, but this trip was just lovely. Small group, Melvin told us a lot about the history of DR, the food was awesome. I love the fact that our money also will be invested in the local people of the Island, that's a big plus for me. Having a great experience for myself and helping others a bit = +++++. Thanks Melvin!

Incredible views - Our tour guide Melvin was incredible at being informative about DR’s and Saona Island’s history. He made sure every one of us was taken care of and having a good time. We were the first on the beach so we had it all to ourselves for some time. This tour was worth every penny!
