Buggy Bayahibe avril 2025 - We enjoyed being the only duo with the guides, who made us discover a real Dominican village, tasted sugar cane peeled in front of us with machete, the buggies were "rustic" but it added charm to the experience. A lady cooked some specialties especially for us. One of our best moments of our stay, we recommend 200%!

Amazing experience - Great views, lots of fun, a relaxing river, great food and affordable. This activity is perfect it’s long enough to have all the fun but not enough to completely drain you. The food at the end is just icing on the cake. I recommend everyone in la romona to take time to do this. 1000% worth it.

Excellent people! - The campesino buggy trip was great. It is very, very muddy so bring sunglasses, a bandana and dark clothes! The operators are amazing, incredibly kind and honest! The sugarcane tasted amazing. The river is clean and lovely to clean up in. At the end the family brought in a lovely plate of food that was really delicious. We were well taken care of. If you don’t mind to get dirty it is the adventure you will enjoy!💕

Was a great time! - Had a good time. Was able to go fast at times. Wish there was more mud. Sunglasses and bandanas are a must. Based on price compared to others I feel it’s very fair on what you receive. Staff was very friendly and easy going.

Bavaro Company - Not Worth The Money - This was not the group we were originally suppose to do this excursion with. The booking had issues so they sent us to a company in Bavaro. I was pretty disappointed with the Bavaro company and the overall experience. They couldn’t pick us up at our hotel lobby - we had to walk to the main road off the resort. The transportation vehicle did not have air conditioning or seatbelts. The buggies we drove did not have seatbelts for us or our kids and were broken and were in extremely bad shape with bent wheels. There was zero mud throughout the entire trip even though it rained all morning. They took us to x3 stops were we were hassled by local sells man and women to buy things. The coffee and chocolate experience was extremely limited. We don’t not have enough time to jump into the cenote. Overall it was a very poor experience for $220 US dollars. I would not recommend the Bavaro company to anyone.
