Enjoyable Tour - We had Alex as our tour guide.
Alex provided interesting history on our journey from the cruise port to Pisa.
We joined him for an hour walk around the Leaning Tower grounds where we had the opportunity to take many photos of this beautiful place.
We were then left to stroll around on our own to grab some lunch before heading up the Tower of Pisa.
An enjoyable day out.
The bus driver did a great job getting us there and back on time.
We recommend this tour and all had a great time making memories to last a lifetime.

Experience the amazing Leaning tower of Pisa - Hopping off our cruise ship at La Spezia to a bus waiting to take us to Pisa was so convenient. Our guide, Alex Lucio shared interesting info during the bus ride & when we arrived directed us to the tower & then a walk through Pisa. Stopped at a great gelato shop. Climbing the Leaning tower of Pisa was a highlight!

Excellent value good day out - Lots of information given By guide very friendly girl dropped off a ten mins. Walk away from centre for tower and cathedral lovely but very very wet

Great variety of experiences. - The reps were easy to find in the port. We were offered a bonus trip to Lucca so were glad to take it. Giada was a great guide, very organized and easy to understand. But the timing was off somehow, and we barely made it back to the ship before closing time.

Did not need to book this tour just to see Pisa - Too large of a group. Only one tour guide who held up a green flag to follow along. Going thru crowds she was hard to find or keep up with. When we could no longer find her or flag due to crowds we just walked around on our own so we missed half of the tour and just met at bus when it was time.

Tour to Pisa is very short - Booked Pisa tour from La Spezia port. It said approximately 5 hours and I was expecting close to 3 hours in Pisa. Bus arrived and left about 20 minutes late and needed to get back early because a few people on our bus had a second part to their tour. It was only 90 minutes in Pisa which isn't much time to do anything besides walk around. Definitely didn't feel like I had time to explore anything except the Miracle Plaza. You can probably get into the cathedral for free if you book a timed entry ahead of the tour. The paid experiences looked like the line wasn't very long for prebooked tickets, but would be surprised if we could have enjoyed visiting inside more than one thing.
I didn't want to mess with the trains today, so overall I thought the tour was acceptable for a last minute decision (the staff are kind and helpful), but if you have some time to plan, know that you must prebook timed entry and you probably want more time than this tour offers.

PISA yes, Shore Excursions NO - The company that runs this tour needs to learn from other Italian city tours.
All they do is take you to Pisa, and that's it. The guide basically tells you no history, just be back on the bus by a certain time.
We chose to climb the tower, which was incredible
When we asked the guide if our ticket included anything else, she said no.
When I checked our ticket, we found that we were allowed to visit the cathedral, and we had 1 visit to the bathroom per person.
The killer problem to the tour was the communication between the tour guide and patrons.
She gave her phone number if there was a problem, which is not great if you don't have a European sim card.
When we left for the bus, the directions were so vague that we and several other people got completely lost.
If it wasn't for 1 gentleman from the excursion who had a phone to get directions back to the bus, we don't know what we would have done. A very very scary situation to be in, especially when you can't speak Italian.
When we returned to the bus, she became defensive and very unconcerned about what happened.
Avoid tours by Shore Excursions as they do not care about their customers.
Don't get me wrong, Pisa was a spectacular place to see, but if you can, find any other tour that can get you to the top of the tower.

Bus ride that’s it no tour, save your money and just train - This is a bus not a tour. They get you right from the cruise port then bus you to Pisa. However this is not a tour. I paid extra for the tour of Pisa and the leaning tower tickets for entrance. Do not waste your money on this “tour” she walks you from the bus to the main spot for the leaning tower then tells you to meet back there in a few hours. Save your time and money by just taking the train. Or book this only as a bus ride as they give that option. I contacted the company to be refunded for the lack of tour and they said “it was offered “ it was not offer, I even asked the guide who said “the tour is just to point out this street” . That is not a tour. Save your money do the walk from the cruise port to the train which is 30 minutes train ride vs this 1 hour bus. And then you can come back whenever you want to the cruise port to.
