Top Quality Guide - We did Bath, Stonehenge and The Cotswolds with Daniel. We had a great time. He is a great tour guide. Some reasons why I say that: - he has clearly done a lot of research to prepare for this role - he is pleasant to spend time with, a good listener and strong communicator - he truly seems to love his work - he’s a very good driver - he has created and shares pertinent visual aids Way above and beyond your average tour guide. We hope to come back and do more tours with him Olsen Travelers

The go-to guide in Bath - I’m a repeat visitor with Bath Insider Tours. When my friends from the US visited, I knew they’d enjoy a tour with Dan. He didn’t disappoint and we’re still talking about how great of a guide he is and the amazing day we had. Thank you, Dan!

Daniel is the best! - Daniel is a wonderful sweet and knowledgeable tour guide. I was lucky to meet him almost 5 yrs ago on a previous trip, and he was just as outstanding the second time. Thank you so much for touring my daughter and I around the villages in Cotswolds. Sharing and making great memories.

3 of us off to the Cotswolds! - We had the most enjoyable day with Daniel Hancock as our guide. He allowed time to account for our individual interests while providing an amusing and complete tour. He’s a great driver and terrific company. Don’t hesitate to book him.

10 out of 10 - So Glad We Booked This! - This might be my favorite tour that I have ever booked. Dan was absolutely great. He was very accommodating and communicative ahead of the tour. He was very relaxed and easy to talk to and was very informative. My favorite part was not only did he tell you the history and fun facts but would show film clips so you could see the building (for example) he’s showing you in the movie scene! I thought it was great to see both at the same time without having to do the research myself. His points of interest were well thought out, and he seemed very genuine, which I appreciated and enjoyed. Also, the cream tea location was fabulous, and the scones were delicious! I would book one of Dan’s tours every return to Bath…no hesitation. He is a fun personality!

An afternoon delight - The tour was a delight. Daniel drove us along the narrow backroads of the Cotswolds and surrounding area, taking us to Lacock, Castle Combe, and a quaint little B&B for tea, before dropping us off. The rides and tours of the towns were made thoroughly enjoyable through his wit and knowledge of the area. The length of the tour was perfect, nestled between lunch and dinner, yet long enough to get a good sense of the area. The cream tea at the end was the best we had on the trip.

Great day trips from Bath - We’ve done many private tours throughout Europe. This was among the best. Daniel was knowledgeable and considerate. He made some major adjustments to accommodate us and our interests. We will recommend him to all our friends who travel.

The perfect Cotswolds afternoon - The best afternoon of our trip to England. Daniel was the perfect guide. Took the time to find out about our interests and catered the trip to be exactly what we were looking for. The perfect story teller, my teens were completely engaged the entire time, from stories about the locations we were visiting to the people who lived there, not to mention the Harry Potter filming lore (loved that Daniel had an iPad with footage of the films to accompany what we were seeing). So many interesting bits of information along the way (from the history of the area to seeing Salisbury Hill whilst listening to Peter Gabriel sing about it). The cream tea at Fosse Farmhouse was the best I’ve had and the stories of Caron’s adventures were a perfect way to end the afternoon. All in all, worth every penny and then some. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else coming to Bath!

Nice trip with a top Guide! - We had an amazing, full informed and absolutely joyful trip with Daniel. This tour is also worthy for the outstanding natural beauty of this area. It was so pleasant and we couldn‘t have wished for a better guide! Thanks Daniel, for the best last day of our trip to England - and of course the best scones :)

Daniel went out of his way to make it an interesting day for us - I, my husband, our son & his wife hired Daniel to give us a tour of the Cotswolds. It took about 9 hours; we saw Castle Combe and opted to see the Abbey at Lacock. The tour was a highlight for my son of our trip to England. Daniel was very good to work with. He quickly responded to questions I emailed him. I mentioned to him that there was a duke that lived pretty close to the Cotswolds and asked if we could see his manor from the road. I found on internet that the estate is open to the public for tours of the gardens on certain dates plus for rental for special events. Daniel did research and even drove out to try to find a spot where we could get a glimpse. Unfortunately the estate was getting read for a horse race so lots of areas blocked off. I was a little disappointed with the Cotswolds. The ones he took us to were charming but I had pictured in my mind charming villages with cute shops selling bakery items, maybe lace, tea, etc but the ones we went to were too small to have shops. He did take us to a nice spot for lunch.
