Totally enjoyed Lacock/Castle Combe tour! - Had a WONDERFUL time with Daniel on our Lacock and Castle Combe tour! He was well informed about the history of the sites, as well as knowing the more current uses of the areas as filming locations. Definitely a highlight to our trip to Bath!

Extraordinary Experience! - What a wonderful tour! Daniel was an amazing guide, sharing so many unusual and entertaining stories about the area. We loved spending the day with him walking and driving through the villages. We started the morning feeding ducks, ate at the perfect pub for lunch and then explored an estate currently shooting a show on Netflix. What a treat! I highly recommend any tour with Daniel as your guide. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic half-day tour - Daniel was the best guide for our all too brief visit to the Cotswalds. He's an engaging and knowledgable guide, and we really appreciated how he asked for our input in setting up the visit. Pre-tour communication was excellent - there were no questions about where and when to meet. We had such a lovely afternoon and never felt rushed. We highly recommend him if you have limited time but would like to visit a couple of villages, and we will definately book another tour with him next time our travels take us to the Bath area.

Outstanding experience with our tour guide Daniel. - Absolutely outstanding experience with Daniel. He is so knowledgeable and personable. Our afternoon surpassed all expectations. Daniel shared a lot of facts about the two villages and included video clips from movies that had been filmed in them. The cream tea at the end was a delightful surprise. We can't recommend him too highly for any tour that he offers.

The most amazing tour guide- 10000/10 recommend - This was our 2nd day in a row having a tour with Daniel, and when he picked us up for the tour we were thrilled the spend the afternoon with him again! We took a scenic route to Lacock, and Daniel gave us lots of info about the area and even has photos and clips on his iPad to show some of the filming locations. Our stop in Castle Combe was wonderful, and stopping for cream tea at the end of the tour was definitely a highlight of the day. It’s more than just a tour with some facts- Daniel makes it personal, is funny and is passionate about the knowledge he so willingly shares with his guests. After our second (and sadly last) day with him…my daughter was upset that he wasn’t picking us up the next day because she has so much fun. We can’t wait to visit Bath again and hope to try more of his tours in the future !

Great day tour of the South Cotswolds - Our family spent the day with Daniel exploring the Southern Cotswolds, on a day trip from Bath. Daniel was a perfect guide- knowledgeable, organized and very easy to talk to. He is a Bath native and is also an extensive traveler with experience setting up tours abroad. The tour was really well organized and was a perfect blend of stops to different types of sites that allowed us to get a feel for the countryside, village life and history while avoiding crowds of visitors. He also arranged a detour to see a local site at our request, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone interested in exploring the area around Bath.

Top Quality Guide - We did Bath, Stonehenge and The Cotswolds with Daniel. We had a great time. He is a great tour guide. Some reasons why I say that: - he has clearly done a lot of research to prepare for this role - he is pleasant to spend time with, a good listener and strong communicator - he truly seems to love his work - he’s a very good driver - he has created and shares pertinent visual aids Way above and beyond your average tour guide. We hope to come back and do more tours with him Olsen Travelers

The go-to guide in Bath - I’m a repeat visitor with Bath Insider Tours. When my friends from the US visited, I knew they’d enjoy a tour with Dan. He didn’t disappoint and we’re still talking about how great of a guide he is and the amazing day we had. Thank you, Dan!

Daniel is the best! - Daniel is a wonderful sweet and knowledgeable tour guide. I was lucky to meet him almost 5 yrs ago on a previous trip, and he was just as outstanding the second time. Thank you so much for touring my daughter and I around the villages in Cotswolds. Sharing and making great memories.

Daniel went out of his way to make it an interesting day for us - I, my husband, our son & his wife hired Daniel to give us a tour of the Cotswolds. It took about 9 hours; we saw Castle Combe and opted to see the Abbey at Lacock. The tour was a highlight for my son of our trip to England. Daniel was very good to work with. He quickly responded to questions I emailed him. I mentioned to him that there was a duke that lived pretty close to the Cotswolds and asked if we could see his manor from the road. I found on internet that the estate is open to the public for tours of the gardens on certain dates plus for rental for special events. Daniel did research and even drove out to try to find a spot where we could get a glimpse. Unfortunately the estate was getting read for a horse race so lots of areas blocked off. I was a little disappointed with the Cotswolds. The ones he took us to were charming but I had pictured in my mind charming villages with cute shops selling bakery items, maybe lace, tea, etc but the ones we went to were too small to have shops. He did take us to a nice spot for lunch.
