Super getaway on Zakynthos: turtles, beautiful nature and swimming - We had a super afternoon in the boat with Alexander. Although it was still early in the season we still saw a turtle. Very special. Furthermore, we have been in beautiful places at the Keri caves and the island Marathonisi, with opportunity to swim in unique places.

We've got him - Wonderful boat tour with Captain Alexander. Great entertained in beautiful surroundings. Surrounding one turtle with 5 boats does not feel completely okay, but it will undoubtedly be allowed.

Clear & very blue waters. Highly recommend!! - Overview: The tour was great. We went mid April and the whether was 21 degrees low winds. Not too hot, not too cold, not too crowded! Lows: The boat tour got rearranged the night before but the timings worked better for us so we didn’t mind. We unfortunately didn’t see any turtles because it is not really the season for it in April. The boat was bumpy (speed boat type ride) and full. Highs: But the tour guide was friendly and pointed out famous landmarks. We had a swim stop where I swam through a cave. And then we had an hour on an island. It was gorgeous. The water is so clear it’s ridiculous. I dropped my goggles and my friend tried to dive for them because she could see them. We were told we had no chance as the water is 10-12 metres deep!! We could not believe that we could see that clearly that far away. Definitely recommend.

Visit hard to reach highlights of Zakinthos, find where to go next - Decent fun on a boat: turtle spotting (was hard but not impossible off-season), stunning sea cave views, breathtaking cliffs, a whiff of volcanic sulfur, then swimming at a turtle island (only possible off-season, ha-ha). After the tour, visited the same places from the shore: walked the tops of those cliffs (wow) and spent time on the (pleasantly!) boiled egg-smelling beach with neat caves and nice sand.

Nice tour, cozy and professional captain. - We had a very nice morning. What a relief that there were only a small group of us! Paying an extra tenner is more than worth it if I saw the other overcrowded boats. The reception was fine and within a few minutes we were lucky enough to see a turtle. Then we set sail for the caves, there was swimming time and we went on a trip to the turtle island. Alexander is a very knowledgeable captain, friendly and sociable, but also professional and above all very agile with the boat. Incredibly clever with what precision he steers the boat!

Turtley enjoyable .... - Coach arrived on time as planned, modern, clean and comfortable. There were seats for 11 passengers which was a good size and opportunity to meet and chat with other tourists. Transfer at port to our boat was well organised and we were soon on our way after being shown the 'lazy' turtle who had stayed behind in the port. I think everyone on our boat got sight of him lifting his head out of the water. Boat captain was very jolly and good humoured. Atmosphere on boat was good... we stopped at Keri caves sufficiently long enough for good photography opportunities and a short break at small pretty cove was included for those who wanted a dip in the blue waters. The last stop was 45 mins at an island beach where we could swim, picnic and chill. All in all a good trip and thoroughly recommend.

Nice excursion! - Great 3h excursion to discover caves, cliffs and turtles. There were only 8 of us on board, so we had plenty of room. Captain Alexander was very funny and skilful with the boat, we felt really safe. Swimming stops could be shortened at the beginning of the season because the sea is still very cold (17 degrees today!) . That said, if you appreciate the freshness, don't forget to take your jersey!

Good experience - It was nice tour of some islands and caves. We swam in one location. We saw one turtle though… as it’s off season so disappointed but no one’s fault. The one we did see though… 6boats were circling him for a look. Felt bad but tourists gotta see I guess. The beach we spent time at was ok. Overall ok experience.

Not very animal friendly - The appreciation is not to the person who carries out the boat trip, but more the masses. Almost 10 boats charging at 1 turtle we eventually found no longer fit in this time. Wouldn't book it so fast anymore. The first stop for swimming was nice. The 2nd at the beach was not necessary by us.
