Do it! - What a pleasant surprise! My friends and I didn't know what to expect, but it was a highlight of our trip to Patagonia! Henry and Lucas were amazing guides, the scenery was incredible (especially at sunset--highly recommend the 6:30 tour) and the meal afterward was delicious. A steal for the price!

Once in a lifetime experience - It was a great experience. We were lucky that only the two of us were able to ride out with the two gauchos. The tour was fantastic. Even for me, who had never been on a horse before, the tour was really doable. The food afterwards at the ranch was also delicious and well prepared. We would love to go back to the ranch tomorrow.

Stunning views from horseback’s. Excellent outdoor activity especially with kids - Amazing half day activity with marvelous views and relaxed horses. We went with Cerro Frias as our two kids age 8 and 11 could go. Most of the other operators take older kids only. Nice small group of 9 incl us four and three guides who helped with the horses. We are beginners and it was no problem at all. We arrived at Estancia Alice and started to get onto the horses immediately. The ride took about 1.5 hours and went one circle up the hill and back down. Absolutely stunning views. We’d go again.

Wonderful experience - We had a fantastic time horse riding from this ranch. The scenery was spectacular and the horses were in great condition and very placid. Our guide’s English was excellent which meant we could ask questions and learn about the ranch and the environment. My partner had lunch which was quite basic but authentic and delicious. If I have one criticism, it would be the timings. We were picked up at 8.30 so had breakfast around 8. Riding was 9.45 - 11.15 and Lunch was served around 11.30 which felt much too early to eat a 3 course meal. **** Perhaps the ride could have started a bit later? If not …. Don’t eat a big breakfast !!! **** As it happens, this worked out very well for me as the ranch staff were being given a lesson by the renowned horse breaker, Amilcar Unanue, and the owner of Cerro Frías very kindly let me watch. It was a Wonderful, unique and informative experience …. A once in a lifetime opportunity for which I was very grateful

Good, just not what I booked… - I booked for horse riding through TripAdvisor, however once the company picked me up it became clear that there wasn’t going to be any horseriding. The tour ended up being a 4x4 tour, which was fantastic, just not what I booked. I understand that it’s low season and they probably just didn’t have enough people to justify running horse riding and 4x4, but it would have been nice if they had informed me of this. Watch out when booking and confirm what you are booked for. However, we saw all sorts of wildlife including a condor, eagles etc, so I would recommend the 4x4 tour.
