- Alcoutim - Alcoutim is a charming and peaceful village located in the Algarve region of southern Portugal, near the Guadiana River, which forms the natural border between Portugal and Spain. The village is in the Sotavento part of the Algarve, known for its serene countryside, picturesque views, and relaxed pace of life. While it’s not as well-known as some of the more touristy spots in the Algarve, it offers a unique, traditional Portuguese experience, especially for those who enjoy history, nature, and a slower pace.
After soaking up the beauty of the town we´ll jump on a local boat to cross the Spanish border and enter Sanlucar de Guardiana.
