Great experience thanks to the desert and the best tour guide! - It was a great experience that I will keep for the rest of my life. My tour guide, driver and soon become friend Waqas makes the difference in making our experience comfortable, enjoyable, an unique. The experience repaid the cost I paid for a VIP treatment. I choose this package because I wanted to fully enjoy my day in the desert. I've driven a quad (not included in the cost), went on the dunes to take many picture: I came home with a wonderful gallery. Waqas arrived on time to pick me up right in front of the hotel around 1:45pm and at 10pm I was home. We enjoy a lot and he let us stay in the camp after his duty hours to let us watch the last show! This is not something every guide tour will do! I was alone but I found a friend a very funny family that create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the trip. I would recommend this experience for all the people, single, family or couple who really wants to enjoy some craziness in the desert. The tour is completely safe, the drivers are professionals and own a specific car and license that allow them to drive on the dunes.

The VIP Sunset Evening... - The VIP Sunset Evening Safari was an amazing experience! The camel ride, sunset views, live shows, and BBQ dinner were all fantastic. Our driver, Waqas Subhani, was very friendly and told us a lot about Dubai, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended

Very disappointing experience – not suitable for families - Unfortunately, our safari in Dubai was a very bad experience, and one we truly regret booking. The guide drove extremely roughly throughout the journey; we were shocked badly on a hump, which was particularly concerning as we were travelling with an infant and a senior citizen. Safety did not seem to be a priority. Due to fear that the situation might worsen or that the driving could become even rougher, we did not raise any concerns at the time. In fact, we wanted to stop the experience midway but felt uncomfortable doing so under the circumstances. On arrival, the guide gave very basic instructions and then disappeared, leaving us standing alone in the desert while he attended to other clients. There was no proper guidance, assistance, or reassurance, which made the experience uncomfortable and stressful rather than enjoyable. Overall, the service felt rushed, unprofessional, and poorly managed. We expected a family-friendly and well-organised experience, but this fell far below expectations. I would not recommend this safari, especially for families with children or elderly members.

Wrong information (pick up by a minibus instead of 4x4) - Extremely bad tour company. I booked via booking.com. They gave price 21-22USD per person, and said that it will be morning safari, which was OK. Later someone contacted by WhatsApp and said that they can change it to evening if we pay 70 AED per person, we negotiated and agreed. They promote pick up by 4x4 from hotel, but sent a bad minibus. When asked they said they meant 4x4 during safari. We had 2 more families in the bus and apparently all of them were faked like us. They didn’t have proper 4x4 during the safari too. They changed the car in the middle. Would not recommend them at all.

The worst experience! Do not book! - Do not book with this company! It was the worst experience: 1. It is said when you order: “Doorstep pickup & drop-off in luxury 4x4”. The car was super old, smelly and in a very bad condition inside. The seat belt didn’t work. There was trash from ice cream from previous passengers. Tape was used to keep the back side of one of the seats. The seats at the back just don’t have enough space for your knees. There is a very strong smell of gasoline in the car when you sit at the back. Photos can provided upon request. 2. In the booking on Viator if is written that the tour starts at 15.00. However, we were picked up at 2.15 pm so we came to the desert quite early and didn’t experience the sunset. 3. The dune experience is super short. Definitely not 30 minutes. We had one stop for photos for literally 5 minutes. Everything was rushed in dunes except for the time when extra money could be paid for some extra service/offers. 4. The place for dune driving is not the best as there are two big roads from both sides and you just can’t take a photo just with sand without any buildings, trees or roads. 5. It is said in your order “BBQ buffet dinner (15+ veg & non-veg dishes, desserts)” is included. We came to the camp at 17.30. We were told that the BBQ will be served at 20.00 and we have to starve for 2,5 hours. Not to wait, we were offered to go to a separate food zone where we had to pay 50 AED per person to get food starting from approximately 6 pm. So no free BBQ as advertised unless you want to wait for 2,5 hours sitting in the camp. Absolutely not professionally! Why not to say the truth in the advertisement when people book the trip? 6. We were told that the paid BBQ is 50 AED/person. However, we were charged 105 AED for two of us without any reason. 7. When we were offered a paid BBQ, we were told that we can choose the seats ourselves to see the show. We chose the seats on the first row. We just did what we were told. However, a guy came up saying that the first row is reserved for VIP groups and we were moved much further away. We had to argue a lot to get a seat on the first row as in my ticket it’s also said VIP tour! Is it really VIP??? Definitely no!!! Many people had the same issue of arguing with local organisers when they tried to sit on the first row. Why then you say that we can choose any place while selling this paid version of BBQ? 8. It was literally awful to see how a hundred of hungry people ran to get their free included BBQ that started late! They were just starving! It’s not the way people should be treated especially when they paid for the excursion that includes BBQ!!! 9. The driver was talking on phone several times while driving without any headphones. Isn’t it considered inappropriate when the driver is responsible for 6 lives in the car? To sum up - absolutely awful! It could be a great memory about the trip to the desert and the company it organised but this is definitely the worst experience I’ve had in Dubai! I ask for a full refund as the description on Viator is misleading.
