Making memories - The moment that stuck with me wasn’t the waterfall itself… it was sitting on a sun-warmed rock, tea in hand, watching the mist drift upward like slow breath. The sound was less a crash and more a deep, steady heartbeat. I remember thinking, this is the kind of quiet you carry home with you. Hicham, our driver, picked me up just after sunrise from my riad in Marrakech. He greeted me with a gentle “Bonjour, ready?” and a smile that could melt the morning chill. On the way, we passed dusty switchbacks that curled through wheat fields, small Berber houses tucked into ochre hills, and a herd of goats stubbornly claiming the road until Hicham coaxed them aside with a laugh. Our guide, Fatima, led us down the trail toward the Ouzoud Waterfalls. The path was a weave of stone steps and shaded forest, dappled sunlight falling on the backs of monkeys darting between trees. I nearly lost my footing on a damp patch, catching myself with a laugh, and Fatima winked as if to say, it happens to everyone. The reward came moments later — the first glimpse of the falls, a white curtain spilling into a pool wrapped in green. Lunch at the bottom was served on clay plates: slow-cooked tajine, steam curling up from tender lamb and apricots, and mint tea poured high so it foamed in the glass. The river splashed nearby, monkeys prowled with playful mischief, and Fatima told stories of her childhood here. I didn’t want to leave this spot. Later, we climbed aboard a small wooden boat that edged under the falls. The mist struck my back in cool bursts while the driver’s voice echoed off the cliffs. Looking up, I felt impossibly small beneath the weight of so much water, so much time. The ride back to Marrakech was quiet, the cliffs blushing with sunset. I dozed, waking only when Hicham softly chuckled, “You slept well.” Outside, the world was slipping into night, but I still felt the rhythm of the falls in my chest. The marrakech to ouzoud experience is more than a trip — it’s a feeling. If you like, I can also create two more variations with different traveler profiles so you have options for posting.

We really enjoyed it!!! - Very good experience. We feel guided and accompanied along the way. But it's time to be physically prepared. The road is going up all the time. For people with health problems it is not recommended. But the app worked very well! The only suggestion is that they make audios in different languages, including Spanish. Thank you.

Great soup and tea. - We opted for the shorter but very steep hike to get to this Tea house. I believe we could have gotten there on the longer shoreline hike. We were very sore for several days. We are in our 60’s. Everything was very expensive but the tea and soup were really good. The lines were long but the Takeaway line was just a little bit quicker (30 min wait). We scored a spot on a picnic table, but there are lots of shaded spots and big rocks to sit on.

Weather did not cooperate - I’m sure my rating would be higher but the wildfire smoke and subsequent rain made sightseeing difficult. Pretty place but the resort hotel we stayed at was too far from the village.

A nice hike - A Very good hike, one of the best things I did in Banff. (please note it’s more than a moderate hike because it is all up hill) The terrain is fairly flat. The audio was nice hear, although it kicked in and out often so I was fussing with my phone to adjust which was a little annoying but worth the money.

Audio A+..... Hike D- - I was very excited to take this hike, but after a while on the trail I had some issues. First, it was very strenuous, uphill trekking. I was prepared for a slightly challenging, mostly level path. It is not any of those things. Second, the views are mostly blocked with trees, so not so much to look at but the roots, rocks and dust ahead. It's only 3k or so, but there are no markers on the trail to let you know how far you have come or (huff-puff) how much further to go. 3k of demanding hiking feels like a 10k road race. Now the audio tour was excellent, and my husband and I learned a lot about Lake Louise and the flora and fawna. But the audio would have been better if it was linked to some visual, numbered markers on the path. After about the first 5 episodes, we didn't know where we were on the trail relative to the audio speaker, especially since some of the views we were supposed to be having were blocked now by trees. Needless to say, we never made it to the Tea House because we turned around. We could have been within 100 yards of the finish, but without any feedback via trail markers, we just gave up.

Great though very challenging hike. The phone app didn’t work. - The phone app doesn’t work. Great hike. Always inclining and towards the end quite rocky. Beautiful scenery
