A wonderful quaint town in a beautiful national park! The hotel was fabulous. Great for kids as they had their own loft. - Our room had fabulous views the kids loved the pool and the spa was amazing. Afternoon tea was a treat, and the hotel was close to everything.

Lakeshore Shuttle to Lake Louise - The public transport buses were sold out, so I used the Ski Louise Lakeshore Shuttle to Lake Louise. It was a seamless experience - I booked online, chose a date, and chose the times. I preferred this option over public transport when coming from Banff. We started and ended in the Ski Louise parking where the summer gondola and the main lodge is with food, bathrooms, and stores. At Lake Louise, you get dropped off and picked up in the main parking lot near the Fairmont Chateau hotel and the Lake Agnes Tea House trailhead. This parking has bathrooms with running water and water fountains. The shuttles run frequently throughout the day and we were able to get on a different return shuttle because it was not crowded.

Saw a grizzly here! - This was an easy adventure. Wasn’t crowded at all. You have the choice of an enclosed gondola or the ski lift. Take the ski lift if you are brave. We actually saw a grizzly bear, eating berries below us in the open grassy areas, which was amazing.

Confusing - Beautiful lodge and great views of Lake Louise. Not much to do at the top and you can’t really get into Lake Louise after 5 with an RV unless spending a lot of money to get a shuttle. It is difficult to figure out the transportation system. We were even staying in Lake Louise.

Fun Day - We loved the open air gondola. It was wonderful! Gorgeous views at the top! The food and cocktails at the Whitehorn Restaurant were delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Grandeur of Lake Louise. - It was a wonderful experience to go through the ski resort to book our shuttle to the lake and ride their gondola once back to get some unique pictures of the lake from the opposite mountain. Drivers were polite and helpful. Gondola attendants were helpful and kind.

A new meaning for "re-creation." - Banff National Park and especially the Lake Louise area offers some of the world's most beautiful natural sights that every human who appreciates the earth's natural wonders should visit at least once in their lifetime. The large numbers of people who do visit this magnificent region could be off-putting except for the genuine friendliness and hospitality of Canadian hosts who demonstrate in every way all the best in human nature--so that even the most jaded visitor leaves with a renewed sense of hope about the possibilities of mankind. Yes, really. There are commercial places that spend a great deal of time and fortune training staff to be hospitable, but few reach this level of perfection. Of the many breathtaking sites, sunshine and mountain-cooled breezes, hands down the most remarkable impression we left with was of Canadian "niceness." It was real and it was so incredibly refreshing for visitors from your southern neighbor.

Gondola ride - Lovely ride after a sketchy start. Beautiful even though the weather did not cooperate. Will try it again if we get back to Lake Louise.

Good view - Took gondola up and the chair down-great views! Once at the top we were disappointed that Both the bistro and wildlife interpretive centres were closed as we were looking forward to both. Not sure of when they’ll be open. Too much hype about such a great place to see wildlife/bears—managed to see 2 deer off in the distance going down. I’m afraid of heights but managed to do both ways without too much panic!🫨

Awful experience - We prebought our tickets . They had a lightning strike so the closed the ride. We were leaving the area and would not be coming back to this area so a rain check would not work for us and they would not refund our money. What a racket.
