Arusha/Lake Natron

Exploring Hot Springs & Maasai Experience

Lake Natron - After breakfast, guests will travel to the ‘small Serengeti’ to visit the hot springs of Lake Natron. Wildlife such as zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and flamingos can be observed. At the hot springs, guests can swim while fish gently nibble at their toes. Lunch will be served at the guesthouse, and in the afternoon, there is an opportunity to visit a Maasai boma to learn more about Maasai culture.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, guests will drive to Klein’s Gate, the northern entrance of the Serengeti, where the game drive begins. In Lobo, hundreds of zebras, wildebeest, and numerous birds can be seen. During the game drive, there is a chance to spot the Big Five in the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most renowned national park. Guests will stay overnight at a charming tented camp in the wilderness.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - This day is dedicated to exploring the stunning beauty and wilderness of the Serengeti. The guide will showcase incredible animals such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, and giraffes. Guests will be captivated by the Serengeti’s splendor. Dinner will be served at the Tented Camp.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - Today, guests will depart from the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The crater, often referred to as the Ark of Noah, is home to a diverse array of animals, including lions, zebras, elephants, and birds. The day’s experiences will leave guests in awe. Overnight accommodation will be within the conservation area.

Tarangire National Park/Arusha

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, guests will drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is home to numerous elephants, zebras, and giraffes. Tarangire features a lovely river where animals gather to drink. Lunch will be enjoyed with a view of the river and its wildlife. In the afternoon, guests will return to Arusha.

We loved the safari experience - We only have god things to say about Tanzania, Migration Ventures Africa and our guide Joseph for the wonderful safari trip. To begin with we were nervous about doing a trip in the middle of the rainy season, but we needed not fear because it was an experience like no other. We had a great vehicle and awesome driver/guide with us and boy, we did not miss a thing. The trip was action packed with adventures, muddy trails, lots of game viewing and that warm feeling in the stomach of not knowing what exciting thing would come next. There were some quiet moments when all we would see were the expansive open plains and dotted animals in the horizon.... then drive towards them till they became life size herds of buffalo, elephants and the unmistakable wildebeest that congregated in their thousands. Lions, cheetahs and hyenas were a common sight as they would not be far off from the herds of herbivores. The evening and nights were spent in top class lodges where service would be great, nice food and comfortable lodgings. Tanzania is one of the most beautiful places that we have been to, and if you are thinking of traveling there talk to Amos the Director because he can tailor a trip just for you.

Absolutely Phenomenal! - Wow! Just Wow. This is the best safari we have ever been on as a couple. The trip was amazingly beautiful, taking us deep into the parks where explored and the far flung sections of Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, away from the crowds. This trip reminded me of my first trip to Africa as a child. Our guide Temba was so lovely, he made the experience so wonderful with dedication, passion and attention. He deserves all the appreciation he's getting and much more because he went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable, safe as ge traversed the parks. He was able to find numerous animals and was patient to let us soak up all that we could from an encounter. There were many highlights during the trip, like the lucky buffalo hunt in Serengeti by a pride not far from where we were. It was Temba who stopped the Jeep and pointed us to the hunt taking place. Time seemed to stand still as the lions made brought down the buffalo. The mix of lodges and tented camps worked well for us. Coming back to great food and comfortable beds in a great setting made it amazing! Thank you Temba and the entire Migration Africa Team for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime!

Our 6 day experience in Tanzania - This was a dream vacation for us and we were very much looking forward to these 6 days of adventure. I must say that the highlight for this trip was our guide Peter which really became a friend during these day and also the contact between us and him remain. He tried more than his best to show us everything we could possibly see with days full of game drives. He also explained animal behaviours and gave us a great insight of what we were actually seeing. My husband also had his birthday during this trip and our guide arranged with our accommodation to prepare a cake as a surprise, without us requesting this, which was a really nice gesture from him. We would highly recommend to have the 6 day 5 night adventure with Migration Venture and to request for Peter as a guide (as mentioned he is a 🌟). The only suggestion that I would make is that you will make sure that you have enough Dollars and of the right year (as some dollars are not accepted) prior to leaving your country as it is IMPOSSIBLE to get dollars in Tanzania and cause of this you will have to pay the company more due to the exchange rate. Once again I would like to Thank Peter our Guide for such an amazing experience!

Perfect Safari Operator in Tanzania - My husband, children and I came from Barcelona and had an amazing safari experience. We cannot forget the many special moments in Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Tarangire. We really enjoyed it with Mlay, our driver and safari guide too. He was experienced, knowledgeable and friendly with us all. My teenage boys liked meeting him the first time. He taught them a lot about animals, conservation and also birds. Our favorite park must be the Serengeti. The park is huge and full of many different animals. We even saw the migration of wildebeest, many lions, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles and much more. Ngorongoro is also excellent. There's a lot of wildlife inside the crater walls. We had a great vehicle with us, spacious and comfortable. Mlay is an excellent driver and is careful not to scare the animals. The accommodations were very good, all in great locations and had first class Service. I cannot recommend Migration Venture Africa as the perfect safari operator in Tanzania.

Deniz mlay AKA NJOFU - der Safari Experte! - The very best safari guide I had the pleasure of experiencing was Deniz Mlay, also known as NJOFU. This man knows exactly what he's doing. Not only does he speak excellent English and have extensive knowledge of Tanzania, but he is also respectful and goes out of his way to satisfy his guests. Let me start from the beginning. He first gave us a brief overview to refresh our understanding of the upcoming safari. Then we set off, and during the drive, there were always pleasant conversations, and we learned a lot about the country and the locals. Once on the safari, Deniz Mlay was right at home; he knew the area better than anyone else. He was not only a superb driver but also knew every shortcut and route. He was familiar with the staff at the park entrances, which allowed us more time to see animals in the national parks since he helped us get ahead of others. Deniz Mlay also has an incredibly extensive knowledge of the animals and the nature there. He could answer every question. We saw almost all the animals you could hope to see—INCLUDING A RHINO! Even after the safari, he remained helpful, doing everything to meet our needs. For instance, when we wanted to buy souvenirs, he took us to the local museum to ensure we didn't overpay. I can only recommend this safari guide/ expert and would gladly go on another safari with Deniz Mlay NJOFU anytime!

Amazing- Unique Safari Experience! - I would like to sincerely thank Alex for being such a great and caring tour guide during our safari trip. As two female travelers, my friend and I felt very comfortable and well looked after at all times. Alex treated us with great respect and consistently made sure that we were treated well everywhere we went. While it is also true that Tanzanian people are generally very kind and friendly, Alex went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and welcome throughout the trip. Before the safari, we told Alex what we were most excited to see, and he truly did his best to make it happen. Whether it was a laughing hyena or a buffalo with a bird on its back, he made sure we experienced as much wildlife as possible. That said, it is important to understand that seeing every single animal is not always within a guide’s control. This should not be held against him, as many factors are simply beyond anyone’s influence. I am giving four stars instead of five solely due to the food. Unfortunately, the lunch boxes were not suitable for vegans, which was disappointing. Overall, Alex is an excellent guide and a genuinely caring person, and I would highly recommend him.
