- Lake Pukaki - As the tour passes the striking blue canals of the Mackenzie High Country, it descends upon Lake Pukaki, offering the first glimpses of Mt Cook majestically towering over the landscape at the far end of the lake. A stop at a viewpoint allows for photos of Mt Cook with the lake and winding roads in the foreground.
- Aoraki Mount Cook National Park (Te Wahipounamu) - Upon arrival at the national park, guests can choose to be dropped off at their accommodation or be taken to one of the many world-class walks. Options include the Tasman Glacier Walk and the Hooker Valley hike, an easy hike renowned as one of New Zealand’s most beautiful.
