These consist of three groups of 11 monolithic and semi-monolithic churches carved directly from the mountain. On the first day, visitors will explore two of the three groups of churches: the first and third groups. On the second day, the tour continues in the afternoon with a visit to the second group of churches.

Asheton Maryam Monastery - At 8 am, meet with a local guide for a morning hike to the Asheton Mariam Monastery. This 13th-century monastery offers a breathtaking view of the city and the mountains. The rock church is believed to be the initial work of King Lalibela, who constructed the stunning 11 churches of Lalibela.
