Full Day Tour of Kathmandu Valley
Pashupatinath Temple - After breakfast, around 9 am, the guide and driver will pick up guests from their hotel for a tour of the renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites in the valley. The globally acclaimed Hindu temple, Pashupatinath, is considered one of the most sacred and ancient Hindu temples worldwide. Situated 5 km east of the city center on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, the Pashupatinath area is adorned with various ornaments dedicated to Lord Shiva. In accordance with Hindu tradition, cremations are conducted in the Pashupatinath area along the banks of the holy Bagmati River.
Swayambhunath Temple - Also known as the Monkey Temple due to the presence of monkeys throughout the area, Swayambhunath is revered by followers of both Hinduism and Buddhism. This temple offers not only cultural and religious insights but also showcases various arts, architecture, and a stunning view of the Kathmandu Valley from the western side of its hillock. The Swayambhunath Stupa is marked by the eyes of Lord Buddha, symbolizing peace and knowledge.
Boudhha - Bouddhanath is the oldest and largest stupa in the valley, constructed during the Licchhavi dynasty in the 5th century, approximately 2500 years ago. Originally named ‘Khasa,’ it was later renamed Bouddhanath by the government. Visitors will encounter numerous Buddhist pilgrims and monks from Tibet and other regions circling the stupa and spinning prayer wheels.
Patan Durbar Square - Located in the heart of Lalitpur city, Patan Durbar Square’s main attraction is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. The area is rich with temples and idols. Visitors can also experience the Newari lifestyle, cuisine, and culture in the square and explore museums housing many historically significant artifacts.
Tour of Bhaktapur and Visit to Namobuddha
Bhaktapur Durbar Square - After breakfast, guests will drive to Bhaktapur for a tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, followed by a drive to Namobuddha. Namobuddha is a renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site located 40 km southeast of Kathmandu Valley in the Kavre district. Overnight stay at a hotel in Namobuddha.
Travel to Lumbini by Flight or Drive (30 min flight or 6-7 hrs drive)
Namobuddha - After breakfast, guests will proceed to Lumbini from Kathmandu, with options to either fly or drive. The flight offers beautiful views of rivers, hills, mountains, valleys, jungles, and more, while the drive provides a close look at the flat Terai region and paddy fields. Various animals, including elephants, can be seen near the road. Upon arrival in Lumbini, guests will be welcomed by the hotel management team, and the rest of the day is free. Guests can choose to fly to Lumbini for an additional charge. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Lumbini - After breakfast, guests will embark on a tour of Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. The tour includes visits to Maya Devi Garden, Ashoka Pillar, Eternal Peace Lamp, Pushkar Pond, Chinese Temple, Buddha’s birthplace, and many other religious and historical Buddha stupas. Visit Kapilvastu, Sagarhawa, Gotihawa, Kudan, and Niglihawa
Kapilvastu - After breakfast, guests will visit other fascinating Buddhist sites near Lumbini. Tilaurakot in Kapilvastu is believed to be the capital where Prince Siddharth, who later became Buddha, spent his first 29 years. Sagarhawa, Gotihawa, Kudan, and Niglihawa are historic Buddhist sites in Nepal. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lumbini.
Return to Kathmandu by Flight or Drive
Kathmandu - After breakfast, guests can choose to fly back (available for an extra charge) or drive back to Kathmandu. The journey offers a chance to appreciate Nepal’s beauty. If departing today, guests can reach Kathmandu early to catch their flight. Transportation to the airport or hotel in Kathmandu will be provided.
