1 day trip to Similan islands - The trip was excellent, pickup from hotel arrived just in time (very early morning lol 5:45)
Drive from Phuket to pier took 2h.
Arrived at the Sawanu company office - simple breakfast offered before departure. Towels, snorkels, drink and food all day long included. There were two guides: Nen (Thai) and Leonid (Russian) who were really nice and informative. There were many other staff on the boat, captain and others.
The boat itself is so well maintained clean and comfy. WiFi too!
The island stops were incredible! The staff helped each passenger getting off the boat and back on. Snorkeling equipment was new and new mouth piece was handed to each passenger. Kids equipment was there too! Small life jackets and snorkels.
Similam islands trip was the best part of our vacation. Staff helped with directions, taking pictures, and making sure we are having fun all the time.
The boat is so nice has upper deck to use on stops.
The ONLY downside was that the trip ended a bit early, we were back on main land at 4pm.
I would wave last meal, three meals plus fruit was more than we needed 🙃.
Thank you for this adventure, surely recommend Sawanu travel!!!

Excellent - Incredible great organization. All from pick up to return. Great food. Funny and caring staff (Tequila was the big boss). Great info all the time and great day all in all.

Recommended tour... pay attention to the port transfer - The excursion was organized very well; the staff on board very kind and precise in explanations. Lunch and snacks as scheduled. The only downside is the transfer from the hotel: the driver arrived 40 minutes late and then we had problems picking up the other guests.
Otherwise everything perfect!

Busy but great - Fantastic trip. Very well organised. Some brilliant snorkelling just wish we could have had more time to enjoy it. Was so good.

Lack of life jackets - I went for a day trip on the 30/12/25 to the Similan Islands with Sawanu Travel. The boat was great, the staff was excellent and the service was efficient.
My only concern was the lack of life jackets on the way back from the islands. The jackets which were initially allocated to each seat on the way to the islands were not available on the return trip. When I raised my concerns with staff I was informed that the jackets were removed and placed in storage. This is a serious breach of safety regulations. The trip was about 1.5 hrs long and the boat was full of people including children.
