Great Tour Guide!! - We went there on 4/16/26, a non busy day, so the group was very small (only 6 ppl, a couple plus my family of 4). Dale, the tour guide is very knowledgeable and is a native from the area. He used to be a teacher. I agreed with some of the reviews that the photos are a bit deceptive and wasn't what I expected. I expected more of a "sight-seeing" with time to explore at each stop and to meet some Amish natives. However, the trip didn't disappoint. Dale was telling us all we need to know about the Amish, the area, etc and was never hesitate to answer any questions. The stops at each location was quick, the ice cream was good. The ride to the first stop was 45 minutes but Dale was talking about the history and the area while driving. It's good with adults and High School teens but definitely not with kids under 13 unless they can focus and really loves history. Overall, it's a good informative tour and Dale is 5 out of 5 stars!!

A must if you want to learn about the Amish and Mennonite ways of life - We spent a half day with Dale, a local who knows and is friends with several Amish. His discussion on their origin, how they evolved over time and how they differ from the Mennonites was fascinating and well presented. We went to several farms and viewed their barns and properties. He answered our questions easily and with a full explanation. We can’t say enough about the tour.

Great Amish farm tour! Great experience! - Book this tour! I honestly cannot compare it to other Amish farm tours but this one is awesome. We were able to physically walk around the farms, into their barns (not their homes), meet a member or two of the Amish families, see the beautiful craftmanship of the carpentry of how those barns were built, how they work and how they run. Moses made everything very interesting and I learned a lot! And, the ice cream was heavenly! And, buy the honey mustard pretzels at the ice cream place!!! They are heavenly too!! TIP!!!---Bring enough cash because we bought a gorgeous handmade birdhouse and a child's bracelet at one of the farms. (totally optional and NO pressure!!) Plus, Moses deserved a good tip but we were a little short due to our shopping!!! So , plan better than me!!! Thanks again for understanding Moses!! You were great!

A Very Enjoyable Experience Thru Amish Country! - Our tour guide, Moses did a fantastic job sharing the history of how the lives of Martin Luther, Menno Simons, Jacob Ammon, and William Penn were all connected! His wealth of knowledge and back stories made it so enjoyable. The stop at the farm where the movie Witness was filmed was amazing - especially after watching it the night before! There were also visits to get homemade Amish ice cream and to a working dairy farm, which were both very enjoyable as well. Would recommend this experience to friends and family!

Knowledgeable guide, rich culture, stunning scenery, and delicious ice cream! - Our tour guide Dale is wonderful! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about Amish history and culture, and gave us an in-depth introduction to the Amish way of life — from its very origins to the present day. The route was thoughtfully arranged, and the scenery along the way was absolutely stunning. We had the privilege of meeting some real Amish families and also enjoyed authentic Amish ice cream, which was absolutely delicious!

As Long as you have the Time - Very informative but quite long (over three hours). Our guide, Moses, was friendly and patient. Just be ready to spend a long day traveling from farm to farm. If you are interested in Amish/Mennonite life and no nothing about it, this is a great place to learn.
