Visiting an Amish Home - Sandy was incredibly friendly and informative. My husband is hearing impaired and she quickly set up a microphone for her and an ear piece for him so he could easily hear every word being spoken. Our host, Sarah, was a delight. Her home was immaculately cleaned. The meal was incredibly delicious. She was so friendly and it was like we had been friends forever. Her daughter and son were adorable and they showed us around the farm and introduced us to their horses, goats, bunnies, and newly hatched chicks. This was an unforgettable experience.

Great experience all around. - Excellent guide and tour. The meal was shared with the hosting family. Erin and Barbie were very engaging making this a unique experience.

Such a great tour, we want to do it again! - It was very informative, our driver Jamie knew alot about the Amish culture. The food was delicious, we were well fed. The hosts, Sarah and her daughter, Mary Jane, were very accomodating. They answered all of our questions and even entertained us. We would highly recommend and will definitely do this tour again ourselves, as I understand there are different host families and different drivers too.

A Unique Insight into Amish Life Topped off by a Delicious Home-Cooked Meal - Wonderful guide. He was knowledge and very communicative. We learned a lot about Amish life.
Our meal at the Amish farm was delicious and our hosts were warm and engaging.
It was truly a unique experience that anyone who is visiting this area should definitely participate in.

Local tour company with Jamie full of interesting history of the Amish Mellonites And Brethren
Cultures
Delicious home cooked meal by Sara
Lots of laughs interesting stories of family life
She played the harmonica for us
Just wish we could sit and chat longer at lunch
Definitely a must if you plan a visit to Lancaster PA

Wonderful food with wonderful company - We met Dale at the tourist centre and instantly hit it off with our love for Rugby!
Dale is the font of all knowledge on the Amish, Lancaster and Pennsylvania history! Was fascinating to hear all the knowledge he imparted on us.
For the trip, Emma and her daughter were wonderful hosts in their home and the food was amazing! Will definitely be cooking some of them at home with thanks for Emma’s cookbook!
Only teeny niggle, Emma was quite shy and as there was no one else but us on the tour, it made it a little awkward at lunch but overall, amazing experience!

Amish experience. - We had a very enjoyable experience with Jamie as our guide. He was very informative and knowledgeable of the Amish. The lunch we had in the Amish home was amazing! Will definitely come back!

Wonderful Afternoon of Food and Fun - A highlight of our trip to Lancaster. The tour was wonderful and informative. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and we enjoyed our time. It was such an honor to get to have a delicious home cooked lunch with a very kind hospitable Amish lady. It was something that I will never forget. Highly recommend this activity.

My second Amish meal exsperience - I have done this exsperience twice. The first was 10/10. This time the driver was over 15 min late, the food at the house was not nearly as good, and was given very little time to look around the house. For the price I was disappointed this time.

Dissappointed but Understood - Unfortunarely the Amish host family had a sudden death in family. We were waiting for the van when the trip was canceled half hour before departure. My friend was visiting from Texas so we were very disappointed but certainly understood. Then went to Shady Maple on our own.
