Cheap and fun activity - A cheap, fun activity. Just give it a go. A great break from driving and an awesome view. We got some great photos in the dunes

Exciting and unforgettable - I was too excited to get into the sand dunes and forgot my ID at reception. When I head to the reception, I saw a bucket of IDs there, never thought a lot of people did the same like me 🤣 Enjoy the sandboarding, suitable for solo, groups and family

Lancelin Dune sand boarding - We had an amazing time, staff were helpful and the weather was excellent. Not too windy. My only suggestion bring water, no beverages on sale. It was a great activity for all of us the youngest being 6.

Fun experience - Easy pick up process. Friendly staff. 5 minute walk to dunes. Can get very hot, need good sun protection. Overall recommend.

Not so slippery - Operators were great. We had fun though the sand was a bit wet in winter making it harder to glide. When choosing a board make sure the 'finish' underneath isn't scratched or showing wood

Love the experience - Love the sand ordinary activity. The workers who handle the sandboards were pretty rude. Otherwise a great experience. It drizzled a while but still enjoyable.

Fun activity but disappointing equipment - Fun activity but disappointing equipment We tried family sandboarding during the off-peak season, but there were still a lot of people. The activity is fun and fun, but I was disappointed by the equipment provided. Contrary to what the picture shows, the rented sandboards did not have foot straps, which prevented us from practicing standing. We had to sit on the boards, like in tobogganing, which really limits the experience for those who want to do standing sandboarding. It remains a pleasant experience, especially for families or for occasional activity, but I would have appreciated better equipment to enjoy the activity to the fullest.

Lancelin dunes - On the website it says that the boards are available to pick up at the bottom of the dunes!! That is not really the case. They are a good 10 min walk across the dunes from the collection point to the actual dunes you can surf. If you have a 4 x 4 you can drive, but we do not so had to walk. No toilet facilities or refreshments either. All that said once you eventually get to the dunes the experience is great! You can get at least 10 runs in within the hour you have. I would not drive 1.5 hours from Perth to do this in hindsight, but if you are travelling and are close by then it is well worth the detour.

Worts experience ever - We had an afternoon booking and got stuck in traffic due to an accident. We called two hours in advance to advise we were delayed. During the call, we were told we could still start once we arrived, but that the time lost would not be recovered which was fair enough. However, when we arrived, the staff member had a very poor attitude. We did not have a physical card with us, so we asked someone to help and were able to use a credit card. At that point, the staff member said it was too late to proceed. Everything suddenly became an issue, despite what we had been told on the phone. He continued making excuses, which only caused further delays and wasted more of our booked time. We kept explaining how unfair this was, and in the end, we were only able to use the buggies for 15 minutes. We also noticed other customers experiencing similar issues. This felt like a complete scam instead of trying to provide a service, they seemed focused on finding reasons to avoid delivering it.
