Hanoi - Cao Bang - Quang Uyen (L/D)

Lang Son - The guide will meet the group at the hotel at 8:00 AM to begin the journey north to Cao Bang. The travel time is approximately 5 hours along the scenic pass roads through Lang Son.

Cao Bang - Lunch will be served at 1:00 PM at a local restaurant in Cao Bang pass. Afterward, the group will trek from Cun stream on Ma Phuc pass, traversing fields and valleys to reach Phia Thap incense village, known for its traditional handicrafts by the Nung ethnic minority. The night will be spent in a stilt house in the village, enjoying dinner with the Nung ethnic group.

Trekking in Quang Uyen (B/L/D)

Quang Uyen - After breakfast, the exploration of Cao Bang’s traditional craft villages begins. The first stop is Phia Thap village, a Nung community renowned for incense making for over a century. The journey continues through fields to a village known for its yin and yang tile style. The next destination is Phuc Sen forging village, where the group will observe the knife forging process. The tour also includes a visit to the Nung ethnic group’s knitting village. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed before visiting the Nung’s paper-making village. The day concludes with a return to the traditional Nung house in the incense village for dinner.

Quang Uyen - Ban Gioc Waterfall (B/L/D)

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - The journey continues across fields and hills from Quang Uyen to Ban Gioc waterfall. This stunning waterfall spans over 300 meters, dividing Vietnam and China. There will be time to soak in the atmosphere and capture beautiful photos. Following the waterfall visit, the group will explore Nguom Ngao Cave, a remarkable natural wonder with 2,144 meters of underground passages filled with stalactites and stalagmites. After lunch at a local restaurant, the trek will proceed from Yen Nhi homestay through Thuon village, returning to Yen Nhi homestay for an overnight stay.

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Lang Ha Trek (B/L/D)

Cao Bang - After breakfast, the trek begins from Dam Thuy, along the China border - Phuc Hoa, through the lush fields of Cao Bang. Lunch will be at 12:00 PM at a local restaurant. Before reaching Thanh Nhat town, the group will conquer Vinh Quy pine hill, witnessing traditional tiled stilt houses, mossy fences, and cattle grazing on grassy hills. The day ends with rest and dinner at Mr. Chung’s homestay.

Ha Lang - Dong Khe - That Khe – Hanoi (B/L)

Cao Bang - After breakfast, the guide and driver will escort the group to Dong Khe and That Khe, two significant historical sites from Vietnam’s war of independence. Lunch will be enjoyed en route back to Hanoi. By 5:30 PM, the group will arrive in Hanoi, marking the end of the tour and bidding farewell to the guide and driver.
