Fantastic experience! - Booking was easy and, as it turned out, this tour was an absolute bargain! The pick up from the hotel was bang on time. There was some waiting around at the entrance to the geo park and some confusion as to whether we would be on one “big” boat or two small, depending on group size. At this point, I was concerned that it had the feel of a a production-line tourist trap. And then the guide, Sara, arrived and this had a huge impact on what made the tour so special. Not only did She speak excellent English, was personable, professional and extremely knowledgeable: she also had a great way of organising and engaging a multi-national group. We had 10 on our boat and 14 on the other which possibly sounds klike a large number to manage. However Sara jumped between boats making sure nobody was left out and everyone had the chance to test her extensive knowledge of this amazing environment as we made our way through the park. There was not a single moment where her energy and enthusiasm for the surroundings dropped and, as a result, both my wife and I had the most amazing time. Monkeys, bats, monitor lizards, otters, kites, eagles, dolphins, even a horseshoe crab, and then the most amazing beach - the tour delivered so much. The boat skipper too was relaxed but very switched on and well worth the 50 Reg tip we gave him. There are a lot of companies doing this tour and we did see boats allowing guests to feed monkeys which actually showed a degree of ignorance of what the monkeys really needed from the Mangroves (we were allowed to hand feed them water from bottles instead as they have loads of food but 70% die from thirst!). Sara’s passion for the environment shone through in every aspect of her commentary and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour above any other.

Excellent guide let down by transport and poor lunch - Sara our guide was super knowledgeable and each tour stop was super informative. Sadly the tour was let down by - the awful lunch, nobody ate it, the restaurant felt unclean and I’d rather have had the extra time on a beach - the speedboat driver who was pretty and found it highly entertaining - I’d done enough boat trips to know this was not normal - the transport back significantly delayed as the driver had fallen asleep back at home and Sara woke him up ringing him It’s a shame as Sara herself is excellent. I’d recommend the trip but dodge the lunch.
