Great experience - Sham was extremely welcoming and friendly from start to finish. He provided us with a clear explanation of what the tour entailed, and provided us with a lot of information on what we were seeing in front of our eyes. He knew a lot about nature and animals, and could very easily spot snakes, lizards, eagles, mudskippers etc. You could tell that he also cared about the mangroves and was continuously picking up litter throughout the trip. Sham also provided us with dry bags, water and a bit sunhat to protect us from the sun as well as any unwanted creatures getting too close! We had a small group which was perfect - some of the other tours off up to 50 at a time. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Sham! Navin

Once in a lifetime experience, book now! - Sham was our guide (and Captain Frozen our boat skipper!) and they were the friendliest, most interactive hosts! Sham's knowledge of the Mangrove is exceptional, he clearly has a passion and love for the place he grew up. He shared so much knowledge throughout the day and was able to answer all the questions we had. We did the boat and kayak tour in the morning, we were a small group (just us two, so basically a private tour!). We started at the bat cave, saw eagles (amazing creatures!), went through a "crocodile" cave and sailed out till the sea! They even enabled for us to plant a tree seedling so maybe we'll have our own little piece in maintaining the beautiful place. The kayaking experience was nothing like I've ever done before, we were lucky to see so many animals in their own habitats ... monkeys swinging in the trees above us, otters, crabs, fish, lizards and even a cobra snake!! We finished with lunch on a floating restaurant, which was pleasant. We're so pleased to have chosen Eco Ventures out of all the companies operating, you should too!

Highly recommended! - We really enjoyed the kayak tour with Sham. The tour is well organized and includes a lunch at the end. Everything is taken care of. Sham is a very warm and informed guide who wants to give participants knowledge about the area and the animals living there. You can feel that he cares about nature, and that he also wants to make the tours as ecological as possible. When my girlfriend wasn't well for a short time, he took care of it insanely. Thank you again! We would always prefer this tour to the “big” providers. You drive through the mangroves (so close to branches etc. / past, you should be aware of that before booking). Great experience to see nature up close.

Great experience, delivered by a great team! - Sham and Nina delivered a GREAT experience during our private tour. Sham was a great guide, knowledgeable and obviously proud of the landscape and wildlife of Langkawi. He also has a great sense of humor. He shared a wealth of insights with us and managed the whole day based on our interests. Nina managed the booking process and transportation. She was friendly, clear, and quick to respond. We highly recommend Langkawi Eco Adventures by Sham!

A great way to experience the geoforest - We had a private boat and kyak tour, partly becase we wanted more kayaking than the standard tour. Sham provided an outstanding tour of the kilim geopark. The bat cave was an interesting first stop. The kayaks had backs, which made them more comfortable and easier to paddle. Plus, low profile life vests were more comfortable than the bulky versions. He taught us so much about the animals and the mangroves. We saw Dusky monkeys. Sea eagles and otters. The boat ride was smooth and comfortable. Lunch was tasty. I highly recommend this group who can cater to any level of physical activity you desire.

Fantastic Tour - The communication from the start from Nina was fantastic, I received a WhatsApp message the day before with the guides name, address confirmation and a picture of the meeting point, which was very helpful. Our your guide Muzs was very knowledgeable and could deliver his information in a very humorous manner. He made time to stop and explain everything about the ecosystem. Would definitely recommend this tour, however if you are senior in years and you have back issues, the kayak can become a bit uncomfortable after 3 hours paddling.

Beautiful Mangrove Kayaking Experience - Sham is a patient and knowledgeable guide, and the mangroves are absolutely fascinating. The surrounding limestone cliffs and plentiful wildlife really make this a special experience. The bat cave was a fun little side excursion (they’re so cute). The lunch provided was simple but excellent. The description says that pick up was optional but I couldn’t find where to request that, and so we did have to pay for our transportation to and from the meeting point, but it was worth the additional cost. I absolutely recommend this activity and this company, it was wonderful!

Wonderful day - Very nice tour, truly recommended. We had a wonderful day with our tour guide Sham (and second guide Nina). It’s obvious that both of them have a lot of knowledge and expertise when it comes to the nature etc. in this area. They share a lot of valuable information during the tour. This combined with a good sense of humor, fun and jokes made it a lovely day, definitely worth the price! They love their job, you can see that! Compared with other operators, we had a small group (max 10 persons), that’s great! We received a hat and a lovely meal at the fishery station. We also saw some wildlife like eagles, two snakes etc. Afterwards you’ll receive both group and personal pictures. Great day, thanks again Sham and Nina.

Wonderful experience and grate adventure - Excellent trip, highly recommended to everyone! Very informative and exciting adventure even for beginners who might never attended on a tour like this or a bit afraid from the jungle. Sham is very professional, funny and super nice! Must do!

Mangrove tour with depth - Great tour with Sham and Nina with lots of interesting information about the wildlife and plant life in the mangroves that allow a deeper understanding . We were traveling in a small group of 4 boats.
