Langtang - The trekking route I took in Nepal was the Langtang Valley Trek, a trail known for its stunning yet peaceful scenery. The path winds through wide valleys surrounded by towering Himalayan mountains. As the trek goes deeper into Langtang, the landscape becomes more dramatic, with snow-capped peaks, forests, and small villages scattered along the way. The air is cool, fresh, and incredibly clean, making every breath feel refreshing. Throughout the trek, I was accompanied by my guide Ramkrishna and my porter Piti (the spelling may be different, as I did not have a chance to confirm it). Ramkrishna is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. He has a deep understanding of the mountains, the terrain, and the local culture of the Langtang region. Along the way, he shared many interesting stories and facts about the surrounding peaks and the lives of local people, which made the journey much more meaningful. In addition to his strong expertise, Ramkrishna has a great sense of humor and a friendly personality. He always knew how to keep the atmosphere relaxed, even during long and challenging uphill sections. He carefully monitored everyone’s condition and adjusted the pace to make sure the trek was safe and enjoyable. Piti, the porter, was always smiling and incredibly helpful. Despite carrying heavy loads and walking long distances on rough mountain trails, he remained positive and kind throughout the journey. He helped whenever possible, whether it was carrying extra items, offering support on steep or slippery sections, or simply being there with encouragement. Both Ramkrishna and Piti were warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely caring. Their support and positive energy added great value to the trekking experience and made the days on the Langtang trail feel more comfortable and enjoyable.

An amazing journey! My friends and I were so lucky to witness all the snow-capped mountain ranges - The Annapurna trekking journey was truly fascinating. It was a bit challenging, but absolutely worth it. Our tour guide and the two porters were so kind and enthusiastic, supporting our group throughout the trip. Next time, I’ll definitely come back to explore other beautiful routes.

Incredible journey with Incredible Treks Team~ - Last month, I had an unforgettable trek to ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) in Nepal with my friends. The trail was spectacular, winding through forests, snow, rain, and waterfalls—it was breathtakingly beautiful and felt surreal. I never imagined I would see the majestic Machapuchare and Annapurna mountains with my own eyes. We were fortunate to have the Incredible Treks Team supporting us as guides, porters, and friends throughout our journey. They were highly professional and took excellent care of us, especially during nights at 4,000m elevation. They felt like family, spending time with us at every tea house along the trek and sharing conversations each day. Their support was invaluable, especially since this was our first time in Nepal. We plan to return next year and will definitely contact Incredible Treks Team again—we would love to trek with them once more. I highly recommend them to others. You'll have an incredible journey with their team.

Langtang Valley Trek: Tough trek rewarded with spectacular views - We did a twelve day trek to Langtang Valley with Incredible Treks. We had asked for Lochan Gurung specifically having gone with him the previous year to ABC. As always he was superb and accompanied by two excellent porters, all of them looking after us literally every step of the way and always friendly and helpful. Our group was collected from our hotel in Thamel and we had a seven hour drive to Shyaphru Besi where we stayed the night. We began our trekking the following morning staying at Lama hotel in Gumnachowk that evening after a full days' trekking. We proceeded to Langtang and Kyanjin Gompa. We were based in Kyanjin Kharka for a few days. The views around the town are amazing, glaciers nearby and some snow-covered peaks overlooking the town. There is also a cheese factory and Kyanjin monastery is definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately the cheese factory was closed when we were there, as they had ran out of cheese! The day we arrived in Kyanjin Kharka we also summited Kyanjin Ri Lower that afternoon. The summit treks are tough, even the relatively shorter ones. The following day we had a 3am start on our way to summit Tserko Ri. Strong head torches are a must and then just put one foot in front of the other. Around 6am the sunrise hit the snowy peaks giving us a spectacular yellow-orange reflection. Further on we passed frost-covered yaks and dipped between the warm sunshine and very cold shade. As we got closer to the top patches of snow started appearing and eventually we reached a point where we were navigating through boulders and ice. We needed crampons for this stretch. The top was clear and we had beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. The descent was long and felt tough on the legs and toes. We were planning to set out for Yala Peak the following day but only one of our group were able for it. It was tough. First day is the trek to Yala Peak base camp at 4800m. After a poor nights sleep in very cold conditions at altitude, a 3am start was on for the final ascent climb to the peak. Altitude sickness hit on the descent but it was a very tough achievement accompanied by a mountaineering guide. Gosainkunda lake was ok, it was a very tough trek and Lochan was making sure we all made it there. The lake itself was a bit disappointing having had some of the most amazing views of my life on the ascent to Hotel Mount Rest in Laurebina. To sum up - Lochan and his team took great care of us all the way, always there to assist and always with a smile on their faces.

EPIC TREK ORGANIZER - We went with INCREDIBLE TREKS for 5 main reasons :- 1. Private and small group 2. Top-notch communication 3. Excellent value 4. Fabulous reputation 5. Awesome trek experience and track record Our hunger for a long outdoor winter trek in a remote and priceless location had been simmering for a while, and we finally found a great trek after long communication and personal meeting many months ago. We then picked LANGTANG/GOSAINKUNDA area for its remote location, contrasting landscapes, authentic culture and mix of physical challenges for instance :- • Big vistas • Large mountain pass • Lovely valley • Roaring rivers • Expansive glacier The payments were transferred, air tickets booked and we finished shopping. Since all treks to Nepal invariably start and end in hotel stays, we had an amazing time checking-in to their own almost new hotel in Thamel and the stays & food/drinks were fabulous although the place is tiny. We were fortunate to have the owner Umesh himself agree to our request to conduct and lead the trek, and this became a mind boggling, authentic, sustainable and unique cultural exchange with the people we met and the owners of the tea houses we stayed. The philosophy and chemistry between us was electric. He found the best tea-houses, the best routes, the best food, the best transport, the best photography, the best money transactions, amidst the weather challenges. We changed course, we changed a bad tea-house, we found a shorter route to save time, and we found time to squeeze in some side hikes as well. The mix of physical challenges was exhilarating as we were mostly city dwellers with zero mountaineering experience but little trekking experience. But we overcame it all and made this huge event happen. We have checked off another peak now, and the joy of trekking completely transformed us, enriched us mentally, and made us healthy and resilient. Five stars are not enough !

Fabulous Trek - Fantastic trek led by the fantastic Lochan Gurung and our two porters John and Nabin. We trekked for 12 days and it was a beautiful experience, Lochan and the team looked after everything and we felt very well care for along the way. This is a tough trek as we walked on average 7 - 8 hours a day and climbed 2 peeks including Kyanjin Gompa and Tsergo, however the scenery and views were worth the effort. The weather was perfect, with bright clear days turning colder at night. The scale of the mountains, the beautiful river, the Yaks & Naks, birds and wild life were fantastic sights. Last year we trekked to ABC, with the same company which was fantastic, but our Langtang experience exceeded our expectations.
