Lanzhou-Xi’an: Terra-cotta Warriors- City Wall- Muslim Quarter (L)

Upon arrival, the tour guide will be at the exit of the arrival hall with a name sign.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Board a private air-conditioned vehicle and head directly to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. The tour guide will share fascinating histories and stories along the way, and guests are encouraged to ask questions.
Begin with a visit to the renowned Terracotta Warriors Museum, often referred to as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” The museum is divided into three sections: No.1 Pit, No.2 Pit, and No.3 Pit. Discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974, it has become Xi’an’s most significant attraction. Explore the museum and gain valuable insights from the tour guide.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After lunch, visit the 600-year-old Xi’an City Wall. Climb to the top of this ancient structure and enjoy the views of the city below.
Muslim Quarter - Next, proceed to the Muslim Quarter, the heart of the Muslim community in Xi’an City. Follow the tour guide through the Muslim food and souvenir market. Guests can try delicious local snacks at their own expense.
After the tour, guests will be transferred to the airport for a 2-hour flight to Beijing.
Beijing - In Beijing, the driver will be waiting with a name sign at the exit of the arrival hall to transfer guests to their hotel.
Beijing: Tiananmen Square-Forbidden City-Great Wall at Mutianyu (B,L)
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At 8:00 am, the tour guide and driver will pick up guests from the lobby of their Beijing hotel, with the first stop being Tian’anmen Square.
Tian’anmen Square is the world’s largest public square, home to the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong, and the Monument to the People’s Heroes. Guests will stroll along the square with the tour guide, learning about its history and stories.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From there, guests will pass through the South gate to the magnificent Forbidden City, a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions, and gardens that served as the imperial palace for over 500 years. Declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, the Forbidden City houses ancient treasures spanning thousands of years. Guests will admire the maze of palaces, gardens, and courtyards while the guide shares their histories and stories.
Mutianyu Great Wall - Afterward, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. Then, relax during the 1.5-hour drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. This section is more rugged and less crowded than the famous Badaling section, with over 96% covered in trees and orchards.
Follow the tour guide to hike up and down different towers, and enjoy the convenience of a cable car round trip or a toboggan ride on the wall.
After the tour, guests will be transferred to the airport for their flight to Xi’an.

Shanghai City Highlights (B,L)
Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - Meet the tour guide in the lobby of the Shanghai hotel, board a private air-conditioned vehicle, and embark on a customized tour of Shanghai’s sights. Discuss historical highlights and attractions with the knowledgeable guide, who will help plan an itinerary based on guests’ interests. Typically, the tour begins with the Shanghai Museum, which features eleven galleries and three exhibition halls. With distinctive collections of bronze ware, ceramics, and painting and calligraphy, the museum boasts 120,000 pieces of rare and precious cultural relics in 21 categories.
Jade Buddha Temple - Next, visit the Jade Buddha Temple to see the White Jade Buddhas brought from Burma in the nineteenth century. Stroll through the temple’s halls and courtyards with the tour guide, learning about the temple’s history and Buddhism in China, and observe locals worshiping and burning incense.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - After lunch at a local restaurant, explore Yuyuan Garden, the largest ancient garden with Ming and Qing style architecture. Follow the tour guide to explore the garden and learn how to create a perfect garden. Then visit the Old City God Temple, surrounded by various local snack shops and streets.
The Bund - Continue to the Bund to see the stunning city skyline, including the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, Shanghai Tower, and colonial buildings along the Huangpu River. Take a walk and stop for photos.
Former French Concession - Explore the Former French Concession, a fantastic place for leisure time. Follow the tour guide through narrow alleyways, dine at one of the many cafes or restaurants (at guests’ own expense), or browse through art galleries and photographic studios.
Xintiandi - The final stop is the lively nightlife district of Xintiandi. As a window to the past and future, Shanghai Xintiandi’s Shikumen attraction was created by converting residential blocks into a multifunctional dining, retail, and entertainment center with international-standard restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and bars. Follow the tour guide to explore the area. If guests have visited some of these places before and want to try something different, they can discuss alternative attractions or activities with the tour guide, such as the Shanghai Museum, Pearl TV Tower, World Financial Center, or Jinmao Tower.
After the tour, guests can choose to end their tour in Shanghai or return to Lanzhou.
