Gansu Provincial Museum - After breakfast at the hotel, the guide will accompany you to the Gansu Museum, home to the iconic statue “Galloping Horse Treading on a Flying Swallow,” unearthed in Wuwei in 1969, a symbol of China Tourism.
Bingling Temple Grottoes - Following the museum visit, embark on a 3-hour journey to Linxia, where a speedboat will take you across the Liujiaxia Reservoir on the Yellow River to explore the Bingling Temple Grottoes. These grottoes, dating back to the 3rd century, feature remarkable statues and frescoes and are set against the dramatic Stone Forest of the Yellow River. The visit lasts approximately 1.5-2 hours, after which you will return by speedboat to your vehicle.

Labrang Monastery (Labuleng Si) - After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a 2-hour drive to Xiahe, known as Labrang in Tibetan. Founded in 1709 by the first Jamyang Shêpa, Ngawang Tsondru, Labrang Monastery is a key center for Tibetan Buddhism outside the Tibetan Autonomous Region. Hundreds of lamas study here. With your guide, explore the monastery and visit its most significant temples in the afternoon.

Ta’er Monastery - You will be transported to Kumbum Monastery, located about 25 km from Xining. As the birthplace of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Yellow Hat School of Tibetan Buddhism, Kumbum Monastery boasts impressive Buddha statues and yak butter carvings. Spend approximately 2 hours here before heading to Xining airport or railway station, where the journey concludes. Consider booking another tour, 32685P86, to Zhangye.
