Experience the thrill of ziplining through the historic and stunning Maurepas Swamp! Enjoy the abundant New Orleans swamp ecosystem from the comfort of moss-draped cypress treetops.

This facility is located on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain, in the charming historic town of Frenier. The course spans approximately half a mile, taking guests around an hour and a half to complete. Riders embark on their adventure from our 60-foot start platform, offering breathtaking views of the magnificent Maurepas Swamp, Lake Pontchartrain, the historic town of Frenier, and even the New Orleans skyline!

As riders navigate the course, they will experience 5 distinct zip lines, two suspension bridges, and our unique spiral cypress tree staircase. Prepare to be fully immersed in nature. In addition to the stunning scenery, riders may have the chance to spot alligators, turtles, snakes, whitetail deer, wild boar, raccoons, opossums, armadillos, egrets, herons, and much more, all from the safety and comfort of the treetops!

Zip NOLA’s facility offers numerous amenities, including a 1,200 sq ft gift shop stocked with the latest New Orleans souvenirs, gifts, and snacks/beverages. The shop also features an impressive enclosure for baby alligators and turtles! Additionally, there are spacious restrooms, locker storage, a green space picnic area, and a large 2,000 sq ft elevated seating area with stunning views of the cypress-filled Maurepas Swamp. Guests can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the moss-covered cypress swamp while observing the abundant wildlife, including alligators and a variety of other swamp creatures!
