- Poudre Park - Located about 15 minutes away from downtown Ft. Collins and an hour away from Estes Park and Boulder. After arriving, check in with the Trip leader for the “Taste Trip” Class II-III. Please make sure you have shoes or sandals that will not fall off your feet (Crocs and flip flops are not allowed). Bootie shoes and wetsuits are available to rent if interested. Life jackets and helmets will be handed, you’ll watch an instructional safety video and we will all get into our rafting bus and drive 20 minutes up the Poudre Canyon to the put in. We will unload the rafts and the trip leader will direct rafters to their assigned raft. Additional instruction will be provided by each raft guide to their crew and answer any additional questions. Each rafter will use a paddle and follow the guides instructions to navigate Class II and III Whitewater. The Poudre River is not a float trip, it is exciting, and guests should arrive expecting to paddle and participate in the adventure. This trip is good for families with children as young as 7. Small Children are allowed to sit in the middle of the raft and hold on if interested. Come have fun and make some new memories with us!

These restrictions allow for a more intimate experience with the natural surroundings as you float through Roosevelt National Forest.

A Wanderlust Adventure rafting meets in the lower level of Vern's Restaurant. Please circle around the building and park in the lower parking lot. The entrance is below our Rafting sign attached to the building and to the north of the outside dining patio of Vern's Restaurant.

Great time with the family! - Great experience. We'll definitely do it again. It wasn't the biggest rapids ever, but for a group of beginners it was perfect. Our guide Ryan was funny and knowledgeable and made the trip a blast.

Wunderlust rafting - This is our 3rd year with wunderlust. Never a disappointment with their staff. This year we had Lincoln. Always well trained guides. Love love it. 5 stars!

Great Experience - Simply wonderful! I had contacted them several times prior to making the reservation because I have a fearful daughter. They were patient and honest with me about what to expect. Of course, since it was August, we had no problems. Lincoln was our guide and we had a fantastic time! We all loved the adventure and would happily do it again!

Highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for a fun, active outdoor experience. - I recently went on a white water rafting trip and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The guides were experienced, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident before hitting the rapids.

Wanderlust rafting Adventures - I found Wanderlust adventures through Groupon and was not disappointed! The guides were friendly, fun and knew what they were doing. Great fun! Wish I'd brought my phone for photos though, as they got some good ones, but we didn't want the whole package!

First time rafters!!! - 10 out of 5! THE BEST TIME! Our party of 8 ranged in ages from 72 to 14 yrs old. We did a beginners trip and as long as you are able to follow instructions w respect and being mindful of being on a river, you can do this. It does take some physical effort of everyone in the raft so keep that in mind. Our guide Dan, made sure to take extra care w “grandma-73” as far as helping/getting her out onto land . Great guide and so calm. We were able to get out and jump into the water as it was a hot day in Aug when we did this. The entire staff was so sweet, especially the ladies -Taylor, we are looking at you girl . Excellent memories for all of us and can’t wait to come back and do it again.

Fun float - Austin was my Captain on the Blast float, and he did a great job. He was very knowledgeable about rafting. The float itself was scenic and not too daunting. The outfitter was well set up and did a great job explaining the safety course, covering everything to be aware of, and everything went smoothly.

Fun rafting trip. - Dakota was awesome! His comedy and sode comments hadnus cracking up the whole time. We had a blast: kids age 17,17,14 and 11.
