Gathering and Departure to the Initial Campsite

Andean Mountains - The group will convene at 8 AM at the Cafeteria of the Mapicsa Accommodation in Las Loicas. Here, the necessary procedures will be completed. Participants will check and pack their personal gear into saddlebags to embark on the adventure to the first campsite. This journey will take approximately 3.5 hours, reaching an elevation of 1900 meters above sea level at Mayllín Camp.

Puesto Vilches, 2700 meters above sea level

Andean Mountains - After waking up, a relaxed breakfast will be enjoyed before breaking camp and proceeding to the next refuge, reaching an altitude of 2700 meters above sea level. The day’s pioneering trails will take about 4 hours, offering a journey through enchanting landscapes, surrounded by vertical walls towering at 4000 meters above sea level, leading to the Vilches Outpost, where a delightful dinner will be prepared.

Hito Pichi Trolon

Andean Mountains - Following a hearty breakfast, the group will head towards the Argentina - Chile border at Hito Pichi Trolón. This journey will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival at the Hito, there will be time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the stunning views of the heart of the beautiful mountain range at an altitude of 3400 meters above sea level. The return to the camp will also take around 2 hours.

Los Alamos

Andean Mountains - Once breakfast is completed, the camp will be broken, and the group will proceed to the Los Alamos Outpost, crossing expansive valleys of volcanic sand. After about 3 hours of riding, there will be time to relax and enjoy the final day together, preparing a regional specialty for dinner.

Return to Las Loicas

Andean Mountains - The camp will be broken, and the group will head back to the starting point, Las Loicas, to return the horses and organize personal belongings. Remember to complete customs procedures with identification. A group farewell will mark the end of the services.
