Large basaltic blocks stretch down to a beautiful white sand coast. After exploring the magnificent crater, continue on the trail to the east side of La Corona. A 4.7-mile (7.6 km) lava tunnel awaits, with the last mile of this tunnel/cave submerged under the sea due to the volcano’s eruption during the last Ice Age.
