Grand Canaria Tiur - It's a long trip around the island. Thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer in certain stops but appreciated nit the time. Recommended.

Great tour, lovely eay to see the island - Great tour around the island of Gran Canaria with a guide. Fantastic scenery, good welcome in the restaurant and the banana plantation. Only downside was booking a tour with an english guide, we hadn't expected more than 60% of the tour to be in German!

Experienced and informative - Very informative. Very good new impressions about the island.
Tour guide gave a lot of information about country and people.
Since there were different nationalities on board - also fluent in German, English and Spanish. Unfortunately, a pure German usage bus would not have become full.
Kudos to the tour guide from Antwerp and the very professional bus driver. I'd love to go again. Greetings from Cologne

Next time we will come again - Booked for day trip Gran Canaria but due to circumstances (wife ill did not come, you go alone so I accidentally get in the wrong bus so I got off unfortunately no tour).
Kebir commercial manager FIRSTMINUTE TRAVEL and all his colleagues made sure that we could still go on The Grand Tour 2 days later.
Nice round island had great stops, tour guide Tom really knows something about everything. Bus with driver super. The tour and first minute travel are definitely recommended...

Nice touring the island - We had a very knowledgeable tour guide Tom and a great driver Lisandro. The tour provides a nice overview of the island. (total distance driven 220km) There was plenty time for sightseeing. The lunch was great. Couple remarks:
Before booking it is stated that the tour operator has 312 pickup points. After booking we were told a different pickup point by the operator than the one we provided during booking. In our case a 35 minute walk (one way) from our original pickup point. When we arrived at the banana plantation we were told there is a € 2 entrance fee. Not a big deal but not mentioned before. Also there was no coffee, just an explanation by the tour guide (which was good).
The final stop of the tour was at a shopping mall in Las Palmas. For us not necessary, but that’s just us.

Lovely! But really not enough time... - Nice to see the island! The guide Tom knows a lot to tell. And the driver drove us around safe and sound.
Only downside is the time at the visiting points. That's way too short! For example, the town of Mogan. The bus stops outside the town at a bus station. The beautiful center can be visited on foot. But before you get there the time is up, we got 15 minutes for the visit. You can't just pee, yeah. That's such a shame. On the next trip, exactly the same for 15 minutes. Maybe it's better to shorten the tour than a bit so you have more time in beautiful places because there certainly were.
The last stop Las palmas involved a shopping center, after a toilet visit tucked deep in the mall there was not even time to buy an ice cream let alone a souvenir. That was a shame about the otherwise beautiful tour, which was really beautiful.

Toddlers not welcome? - During the tour we had unpleasant experience, because we felt being discriminated as parents of a toddler. So, we are a family with a 12 year old boy and a 2.5 year old girl. We were sitting in the bus in row 3, and after an hour from the start of the tour, our little girl started crying about something (as small kids usually do). The crying was short, lasting about a minute. The guide immediately reacted to our child's crying, and told us that we have to move to the back of the bus. He also suggested, at this point at the begining of the tour, that one of the parents should take a taxi and return to the hotel with the girl. So this minute was fully sufficient for him to suggest that half of our family should leave the tour.
At the first stop, we received a call from another person from the travel agency, who said that other passengers would be complaining about us. So based on short 2.5 yo chld´s cry, other passengers would be , according to this person be unsatisfied and complaining, but the girl was completely calm afterwards. He said that we had to move to the back of the bus because everyone are going to be disturbed (NB! Crying lasted for 1 minute!). Of course we went to the back of the bus, that was not an issue, while it felt unfair to be made to do so. The other co-passengers were kind, smiling to our daughter and asking if we would like them to help us taking a family photo, so we did not notice any kind of effect of her crying on their experiences while being on the tour.
We later asked the guide if there had been any complaints, to which he replied that there had not been any yet, but that was guaranteed based on his long experience, and we therefore felt really unwelcome.
Although the guide was really competent and very eager to tell us about the details of Grand Canary, unfortunately his behaviour towards a family with a small child was rather disrespectful. We were in the back of the bus (as directed by the gude) until the end, and the little girl was quiet for the rest of the journey, and she said that the guide was angry with her just because she cried.
I will leave it to other families to think about whether this tour is suitable for small children (please be aware that the organizer does not mention for the tour to be unsuitable for toddlers). Although the content of the tour, and the qualification of the guide were of a rather high standard, we were left with a sad and a shocking feeling, and we consider that type of behavior with a small child to be completely inadequate.

I wouldn't do it again. - Two hours left to collect tourists from the various facilities, a bit too much... Unfortunately the weather was not great, but we still did not see exciting things as we expected, in fact, in Gran Canaria we even ended up at the mall because it rained and it was impossible to access the beach! Good guide who with his experience has plugged the holes of this tour. I would like to point out that lunch in a restaurant in Porto de las Nieves for my husband ended with intoxication probably caused by the seafood of paella. The most annoying thing is that the tour had been booked departing from Las Palmas, but at the last moment we were told that it would leave from Maspalomas, at the opposite end of the island!
