• SunBuggy Fun Rentals - Begin your adventure at our Fabrication and Training facility, where we custom-build your off-road thrill machines! You’ll be equipped with safety gear, watch a brief orientation video, and have a chance to use the restroom before heading to the Dune Buggy staging area, just about a mile away. You’ll also have the opportunity to tour the fabrication department, where we handcraft the world-famous SunBuggy Desert Racers! Complimentary lockers are available to store any items you don’t want to lose in the desert.
• Amargosa Valley - Drive an ATV, a UTV Buggy, or a Dune Buggy and explore the tallest dunes in North America. This location is about 90 minutes north of town, and you’ll have 4 hours to enjoy the sand.
  Appropriately named, the Amargosa Big Dunes exceed 500 feet in height and are truly breathtaking in their vastness. The site is located near the middle of nowhere! (Amargosa is actually near Area 51, so those driving too far east will encounter armed security personnel.) You’ll have 4 hours to EXPLORE the BIG SAND DUNES with SunBuggy Support staff available to guide you around this sandy playground, ensuring you have a fantastic time and are aware of environmentally sensitive no-go areas!

We will provide snacks, lunch, and, of course, keep you hydrated with plenty of complimentary ice-cold bottled water.

The Amargosa sand dunes present a challenge due to their towering heights and steep slopes, making the conquest of many of the larger ones an elusive, yet enjoyable pursuit. They stand as the highest independent dunes in North America! An intriguing feature of these dunes are the expansive ‘bowls’ that form amidst the larger sand mounds. The thrill lies in plunging downhill, only to swiftly climb on the opposite side, repeating the process. This is a guided exploration tour on off-road terrain:

1. A tour of the designated play area around the dunes will be provided.

2. Important information pertaining to the safeguarding of the Big Dunes Beetle will be shared, outlining the restricted areas.

3. Our guides will demonstrate how to maneuver the buggies across the tricky terrain of sand razorbacks and how to steer clear of getting trapped in the deep, soft sand.

4. Afterwards, you have the liberty to travel around independently, with our staff on stand-by for support and to ensure your journey remains safe.
