Great experience! - We had an amazing time! Driving the GoCar was fun and easy after the instruction we received. We loved the audio tour that allowed us to self pace and stop as often and as long as we liked at various spots, and take in a hike as well. Would highly recommend!

A different kind of fun in Las Vegas - My friend and I did this self guided tour starting at 9 am in January. There is a safety video, followed by hands on instruction on how to operate the vehicle, we left there confidently ready for our adventure. There is a 10 mile drive to get to the Red Rocks, that’s a bit hectic with heavy traffic, but we just stayed very aware of our surroundings and kept plenty of distance between us and other cars. Once we got to Red Rocks, it’s a self paced 13 mile drive on paved roads through the one way area. There was plenty of parking available for us to get out and take pictures and even hike if you want to. Once done, we took the 10 mile road back, about 4 hours in total from time we arrived til we left. The staff was great, the navigation guide cut out at times, but nothing that ruined our experience or caused us to get lost. We were quite chilly on the way out, then my friend discovered heated seats and handlebars. This is my only negative as my hands were frozen when we got there and that could have been avoided if the warmers had been pointed out. Overall, great experience and would recommend!!

Highly recommended for others - GoCar tours is absolutely amazing. You arrive, and they will sit you down for a high detailed safety video of operating the vehicle. Once you're done, the employees will take you to one of the cars, and then go through all the important details a second time to make sure you've understood everything. They will provide a prepurchased reservation.gov timed entry ticket to red rock canyon (your ticket into the park), and 3 bottles of water in a little cooler bag. The car was great, it feels great to drive, easy to control, and surprising, can go up to and maintain highway speed with no issues. You'll have the wind blasting you as you make your way to the park on the Blue Diamond Highway. Once at the gates, you just need to hand the park ranger the printed entry ticket and you're inside. To quote the ranger handling our entry, "oh, this company always takes such good care of you guys". I think there is no higher praise than that. Inside, you'll drive along the scenic tour, and can make stops along each sites to take videos or take a small hike. The drive there and back is about an hour (we got a bit unlucky with road repairs and traffic), and the scenic drive itself is also about an hour, so you do have quite a bit of to stop and the visitor center and such. The car will come fully charged, and as long as you're operating as guided by the employees, you'll be very safe on battery, we ended the tour with about 30% left, using almost the full 4 hours. If you do come low, you can call the employees, and they will guide you to some locations where you can charge the car back up a bit. We did this during winter, and the ride, especially on the highway with all the wind, was actually quite chilly. However, the car comes with heated handlebars and seat, and we were dressed well enough that it kept us warm enough. Definitely recommend people to dress up a bit more if you also come during the winter. The park itself is also at a higher elevation, and is colder as a result. The only downside of the whole trip was the guided audio tour. Inside the park, it was decent, but the drive there was rather bland, only very sparse narrations. You're also driving at very high speeds with the wind and all, so only the driver can really hear it, not the passenger. Suggestions for the operator: For some reason, the drive back seem to have more narration the the drive there. I'd suggest front loading it more, I've already had a great time in the park, and just trying to get home now, so the drive back "can" be a little more boring than the way there IMO. Also, on the TripAdvisor page, it says Entry/Admission to the park is not included, when it was, so I had already prepurchased my own ticket. Should probably update that. Also, if you intend in the future to not include the ticket, would also be nice to note that the ticket you need is a motorcycle one, rather than a car one. Last, I think it would alleviate some anxiety of the customers to note the drive there uses much more battery than the way back. The employee had told us that 20% is enough when exiting the park to make it back, but still, I had gotten rather anxious when we arrived at the park and had already used up 35% (from 90% down to 55%). But the trip back is so much downhill that the battery really did barely drain.

Great mother daughter trip! - My 16 year old daughter and I did this together and we had a blast! I was a bit nervous about driving the cars on the main road in traffic, but we chose a 9am tour on a Sunday and it was fine. The cars are easy and fun to drive and the staff at the facility are great to work with. There is plenty of time to stop at all the overlooks and even do a few small hikes and climbs. If you are even a little on the fence, just pull the trigger and book it, you won’t regret it!

The only way to see Red Rock Canyon. - This is the ONLY WAY to go see the Red Rock Canyon. Don't be stuck inside a tour bus. Feel the breeze and all of natures glory on this 3 wheeler. My 70 year old father felt safe in the back, as we hit the twist and turns on the canyon Road. JP walked us through everything in a very courteous and professional manner. The Vehicle itself is very easy to operate. You will get used to it very quickly. The storage bin in the back is very useful. You can go at your own pace. The tour should take a bit over 2hrs but you have the vehicle for 4hrs. The GPS is loud and very easy to follow. I will definitely be back for the hoover dam tour. Thank you for a wonderful experience, JP!

Red rock Canyon Tour. - The vehicle takes a little bit of learning but once you get it you should be comfortable with it. I might suggest going around block a time or two to get a feel for coordination of the “regen lever” and breaking as well as steering/turning radius.
