🚠 View of 2,970 m 🏔️ - Birthday children get a free ride to Piz Gloria. - 🩷-Thank you! The view over the sea of mist was beautiful. At the moment, built in some places. 🚧 Just schedule a little more time.

Great ride to the top! - We took the 8:55 am cable car ride and had brunch at Piz Gloria at 9:30 am. It was an amazing experience. The food was good and there was sparkling wine included. You can also purchase wine and beer. The servers and staff were super friendly. Even though it was cloudy, it was still great to be so high up. There were 4 adults and I purchased our tickets and reserved online. When we got there I just scanned the bar codes from my phone. I'm glad we went early because when we left the cable cars were packed coming up. The schedule was accurate and the location was easy to find. It's a total 35 minute ride to the top with about 3 cable car changes. The James Bond tour, thrill walk, and Skyline Walk were cool too. Highly recommend!

Stunning views - Stunning views but, yes, only go when there is good visibility. Also be aware that, at nearly 3,000 metres, you are High! Plenty of room on the viewing platform. Bear in mind that this is where James Bond took on Telly Sevalas, so there is plenty of 007 trivia littering the place, including a screening of whichever film it was. The restaurant revolves, which is fun, bit is not inexpensive .

Perfect Visit. Go Before 2025. - I had a fantastic visit to the Schilthorn and Piz Gloria. I arrived at the top about 8:30-9am and had beautiful views. It was colder than Jungfraujoch so I was happy that I had brought layers. I really enjoyed the view and the number of tourists was manageable, so it was still enjoyable and everyone could get nice pictures. I had lunch at Piz Gloria without a reservation. The waiter was fantastic. He sat me with two other American women and a Ukranian women later joined us. We had a fantastic view, the round sausage was delicious, and nice conversation. Since the resturant wasn't busy, I was able to sit and enjoy my view longer with my coffee. Amazing experience. I was also able to see the construction for the new cable car. It is fascinating how they build it. I recommend you go prior to the new cable car launch in 2025. I suspect after the new cable car, it will be super overcrowded with Asian tourists, more expensive, and unenjoyable like Jungfrajoch Top of Europe. Luckily, there are plenty of other nice places in Berner Oberland to visit without overcrowding and mass Asian tourism. The harder it is to get to a place (it currently takes three cable cars and you need to stand), the more relaxed experience it is.

Charged wrongly at ticket office - Went to buy a ticket with Swiss Travel Pass for myself and partner and was charged 82.60 CHF. I had told the gentleman at the desk when buying the ticket that it was my partner’s 60th birthday and showed him his passport. I was told that it was free if you go on your birthday therefore I was surprised at the price. I was not given a receipt so when I discovered we had both been charged for the half price ticket with travel pass when we later saw the price list, I could not prove he had charged me wrongly. The trip itself was good especially if you are a James Bond fan and the scenery was stunning.

Spectacular views but pricey and packed in - Spectacular views on offer, but only when it’s a clear sunny day. Awesome to see so much from the peak. Additionally, the thriller walk was a great experience. The only real downside was the price for each person to reach the top. Quite expensive, especially given the fact that all the customers were stuffed into each gondola like absolutely packed sardines. The gondolas can each take 70 people, and the staff made sure all 70 were stuffed in each one before leaving. 70 people plus their big bags, dogs etc. Would be better if they just ran the gondolas more frequently than every 15 minutes.

Better wait until everything is ready - For a construction site/spy world where almost nothing works it is cheeky to charge the full price. the brunch was worth its money but the view went to the construction site.

Less would be more - Price / performance is great, we were registered for brunch at the SO, but the crowd was a horror. Plates and glasses were in short supply, the staff was constantly restocking , but fortunately nice and patient. Too bad that so many registrations are accepted per day🫣🫣

Waste of money due to construction - Everything is partially closed with loud construction. Waste of money. Would’ve liked to know this was the situation as we would’ve avoided this and toured somewhere else.
