• Crevice of Our Lady of Assumption - Situated at one end of Cabo Frio Island, yet part of Arraial do Cabo, the Fenda da Nossa Senhora Aparecida is a rock formation that resembles a slice cut from the island’s “cake.” Legend has it that in 1721, a fisherman discovered a statue of Our Lady of Aparecida there, initiating a procession that led her to the Church of Our Lady of Assunção in Cabo Frio, where she was ceremoniously enthroned. This tale is recounted in the book “O outro Cabo Frio” by Luiz Carlos da Cunha, though many regard it as a legend.

Today, an image of the Saint is present both in the church in Cabo Frio and within the crevice itself in Arraial do Cabo. The opening measures about 5 meters wide by 40 meters high, nearly reaching sea level. Before this opening, there is a rocky area where the statue of the Saint is sheltered.

• Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia - The staircase leading to Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia resembles a gateway to paradise. From the hilltop, one can witness a truly heavenly scene. It’s hard not to be captivated by the breathtaking view: white sands, a sea of varying hues, and the untouched greenery of Ilha do Farol in the background. The descent is steep, with numerous steps, but a photo stop along the way is always appreciated.

It is crucial not to confuse Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia with Prainha near the city’s entrance, nor with Praia do Pontal, which extends along the same sand strip as Praia do Forte in Cabo Frio. Prainhas are located on Morro do Pontal do Atalaia and are named for the formation of two beaches that merge into a single strip of sand when the tide is low.

The water’s color varies depending on the time of day, current, sunlight, and other factors, shifting between shades of green and blue.

• Praia do Forno - Located in Arraial do Cabo, Praia do Forno is nothing short of stunning. • Lifeguards are available to all passengers and are intended for emergency situations only. If the customer wishes to use the life jacket for recreational purposes during the tour, an additional fee will be charged.
• The time indicated at the time of the Reservation is merely indicative. The day before the tour, we will contact via WhatsApp with the boarding information. If the boarding address is not provided, the last meeting point will be indicated: Socialtel Lapa - Rua Visconde de Maranguape, 9.
• Lunch will not be served before the boat ride as some people may feel uncomfortable due to the movement of the boat. It will be served between 14:30 and 15:30. We recommend taking snacks and water to consume on the bus during the vjage.
• The transfer to Arrial do Cabo takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
• In the high season, the shipment is made in Ipanema for better logistics and to avoid traffic.
• The excursions normally continue even in case of bad weather and are cancelled only in exceptional circumstances where the Navy of Brazil does not authorize the ship to leave.
• The vessels do not operate in case of overcrowding and are subjected to inspection by the Brazilian Navy. We use vessels of different capacities and, during the high season, we prefer the ones with the highest capacity, always respecting the legal limits.

The pickup will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From the last meeting point, the trip to Arraial do Cabo will take 2 hours and 45 minutes.
