Amazing experience at Vidigal - Tour simply INCREDIBLE! I did the tour alone with the Russian, and it was an unparalleled experience. Russian is going to detail everything in the community, and also tells its story. You make a part walking through the streets, and at a certain point he asks you to choose whether you want to ride a bike or a van. I got on a bike, and it was fabulous. Russian had the delicacy of offering me water, and also was very careful with me throughout the journey. A true immersion in the history and culture of Vidigal, and the Russian without doubt, is the best person to introduce you to the community! Ah and he still makes his photos and videos tbm 😍

Must do! - Russo our guide what a guy! Very friendly and so enthusiastic about his home town. So many people knew him and was very pleased to see him and us felt most welcome in the poorest streets of Rio. Very lively, so much to see and the views to which we was taken were amazing.lovely guy and very helpful in guiding us to our next destination without him…thank you

Take a tour with Russo! - Russo give us an in-depth tour of his favela, the place where he grew up. He knows the history, the culture, and the people. He's also a very approachable with questions. We walked a lot and saw a lot and we very much enjoyed our tour!

Life in a Favela in a morning tour - Russo was the perfect guide, sharing stories of his 52 years living in the Favela, so well respected in the community, and we were always greeted cheerfully during the tour, just book it, you won't be sorry.

The Vidigal Favela Experience - The Vidigal tour was an interesting and insightful experience if I must say. My tour guide Russo who is one of the coolest tour guides showed me a great time in Vidigal. Russo who is lifetime Vidigal resident gave the history and background of the favela to me. I got to meet a lot of the local residents in Vidigal who were very nice and welcoming. I saw a lot of the houses, shops, and schools where people live, work, and learn. Also, Russo got some great pics and videos from the top of the mountainside overlooking Lapa and Ipanema Beach. It was Easter Sunday so we got to see some of the bar crowds as well. Additionally, I rode on the back of a motorcycle for the first time to the top of the favela which was an exhilarating experience. I would highly recommend to anybody visiting Rio De Janeiro to sign up for the Vidigal Tour with Russo. You won't regret it.
