A great experience, everyone should do this tour in Rio - This tour was a fantastic experience. Russo, the guide, who has lived in the favella all of his life, instantly put us at our ease with his friendly persona and down to earth character. He explained many aspects of his early life in the favella and how changes have improved things over the years. All the people we met on the tour were also friendly and welcoming and we certainly didn't feel unsafe at any point. We were accompanied by a mum and her teenage son and we enjoyed a very enjoyable time in a bar with views over Rio to die for. Russo walked us back to the meeting point outside the favella after the tour. A genuinely nice guy who was very proud of his favella home. Would strongly recommend this tour.

Great dive into local culture - It was a wonderful experience with Russo to view the Vidigal neighborhood. He brought us to his childhood sites and gave us a good history of the place. Definitely recommend and felt safe and protected by having Russo - who seems to know everyone in the village!

Authentic Favela Experience with an Amazing Guide - An amazing and authentic experience! Rousso is a wonderful guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the community. Walking through Vidigal with him felt safe and gave us a true insight into local life. Highly recommend this tour! Go on Rio like a local with Rousso!!!!!

My guide to the hidden reality of Brazil - It was a wonderful experience with Rousso! I don't see Rio de Janeiro without visiting at least one of the favelas with him! The experience is super safe and authentic at the same time! I recommend the favela from the TV movies!!! Come and discover with him an authentic part of Brazil! And one of the most iconic in the world!

Be very humble. Beautiful... - Be very humble. Beautiful city with beautiful people. You cant beat the breath taking views. I highly reccomend Roussou as a tour guide and camera man.

Sisters Brazilian Adventure - Russo was a fantastic guide. His knowledge of the favela reflected his years of living there, he seemed to know everybody - so felt very safe. It was a great experience and well planned. Definitely recommend. 👍

Fantastic Favela tour with the brilliant Russo ! - Fantastic trip with Russo today, what a great guy. He was superb. We are a British family with a 13 and 20 year old and Russo pitched everything perfectly. There was another person on our tour and Russo made sure they were included, switching fluently from English to Portuguese. We had a brilliant tour around Vidigal and met some of his pals, everyone was pleased to see him. It was so interesting, respectful of the community and fun, plus no better way to see Vidigal than with someone who is rightly proud to live there. An added bonus is Russo is a brilliant photographer and happily shares the photos he has taken with you. We fully recommend the trip! Thank you Russo for an unforgettable experience!

Incredible Tour with Russian - Without a doubt, the most striking experience we have lived at RJ! The Russian transformed our tour into a true immersion in the culture and history of Vidigal, sharing curiosities and taking us to corners that only those who are there know.
