The course will also take place in a beautiful 1400s courtyard, in the heart of the historic center of Lecce, next to the Archaeological Museum.
With the help of this cook you will learn the art and the creation of this famous pasta, so once you have learned the technique you can take it home and let your friends taste it. Immediately afterwards, the pasta will be cooked and we will all eat together inside the 15th century courtyard.

Very nice experience that will enrich your visit to Puglia - Very nice experience, very Welcoming. All explanations are given in a clear and animated way, in Italian, English and French. We first knead the common dough in turn... not massage, crush with force 😉 then each has his dough and starts to make orecchiette then macaroni... The technique is shown, it seems so simple... it's a different story when you get down to it. But with the good advice of our guests, we take the help. While the pasta is cooking, an aperitif is served and then eaten together. A great time shared with other participants. We laugh, we learn, we exchange, all in a beautiful typical courtyard.

If you want to learn about pasta making & have fun, then this is the experience for you - We meet as strangers from all over the world but the pasta making made us all relax and have fun. The host was so informative & the Nonna’s were brilliant at showing us how the make the pasta. I must say, there must have been some of us that would have tested their patience! A fun night out with a meal to follow was had by all. I thoroughly recommend the experience.

A treat!!! - Even if the number of 20 people can be a bit scary at the time of booking, it is very well organized and brought. Everyone goes through the kneading stage each in turn in small groups, then in groups of 5 to 8 around a table we go on to make pasta, always well accompanied by the organizers and matriarchs to make sure they will be good for the rest of the evening! Dinner and a very friendly time with aperitif, wine and of course tasting our pasta with a sauce made by our guests that was excellent!! For big pasta lovers or just people wanting to do a nice activity in a superb setting I highly recommend!!

Exceeded expectations! - First of all, Lecce is a beautiful city! We were so happy to explore the city and decided to book this cooking class. Upon arrival it felt like we were in someone’s home! The set up is really intimate! The host spoke incredible English (and multiple other languages) while the nonna kept us entertained and educated us on how to make the perfect pasta! Everything was interactive and fun! It was a full class and we got speaking to many other tourists which made the class even more enjoyable. A generous pour of wine to enjoy the pasta too!
Overall highly recommend this class to enjoy while visiting the lovely city of Lecce!

Great experience - We thoroughly enjoyed our night with this cooking class. It’s hands on helping to make the pasta dough and everyone gets to make the 2 pasta’s to be ready for cooking.

Nice experience but overbooked - Very nice experience in a cozy surroundings but unfortunately too many people (we were over 30). Limited choice of wine (only white and rose, no red) and we were asked not to take too much so that it can be saved for others (even though we only took half a glass to start with).

Great location. Fun class. Nice people. Great food. - The staff were great. Very well spoken. Snacks were lovely. Cooking was fun and creative. We all enjoyed. The location was fabulous. Perhaps too many people so groups were big. However, they seemed to manage well. I do think it was too expensive though. Should be around £45.

Mixed experience - The guide and grandmothers were very friendly and we explained and showed the gestures well. This allows to set up a pleasant atmosphere in the group! However we were disappointed with the size of the group, we were 22 which was way too much! Attention also to the language of booking, there are all nationalities, the guide struggles to translate but for people who speak poor English or Italian, the experience will be less complete!
