Best way to orientate yourself in Lecce - We really, really enjoyed this tour, helped by the fact that Mattia our guide was such a knowledgeable and nice guy. Mattia’s use of old photos was helpful too. We chose the rickshaw just for something different and we are very glad we did - I think we managed to get around to see more in two hours than had we walked and, given the hoards of school children around, having the rickshaw tended to mean we could easily stake a position to see each site. It’s a great way to orientate your way to what is a small, but quite disorientating old area (because the buildings are all the same for the most part). Highly recommended.

What to do - Very interesting and inscructive visit. It is worth it because it allows you to see a lot of things. At the end of this visit we tasted a specialty and drank coffee.

Biking through historical Lecce - The tour was informative, our tour guide even had visual aids to show us more detail. Her name is Flore. Ask for her she is wonderful. The refreshment stop was better than expected. We got to try local pastries and had a lovely local ice coffee

Cycling in town - Highly recommended! - The 2 hours guided tour was a very nice and easy way to get around and visit the main sights in Lecce historical town - especially during hot weather. We started at 10 am and had a cafe leccese and a pasticchio. We were a group of 5, bikes were good, only cycling could have been more. Our guide Mattia did an excellent job - he gave a lot of interesting information about town and history and he was kind and very patient. Finding the office can be a bit tricky so have your phone or good map with you. Highly recommended!

Tour and Treats - Yummy Combination! - This is a very interesting tour, made even more so with a leisurely ride in a tuk tuk style carriage, powered by a bicyclist! A unique way to tour, physical limitations from some in our group dictated that we not hop on a bicycle, but avail ourselves to the cycle powered carriages and they also provide. A very fun way to navigate this lovely city, the cyclist/guides were very knowledgeable and charming. The tour included stops along a route that highlighted various points of interest throughout the city, where the tour guides would stop and share historical and anecdotal stories. The tour culminated at a stop at Jérôme Chocolat, a coffee/pastry bar, where we had Caffè Leccese and Pasticciotto, the region's tasty coffee and pastry specialities. Well worth the price, and again, the guides were really great!
