The ultimate choice for diving and snorkeling in Bora bora - My husband and I first experienced H20 Bora bora Snorkeling Tours in 2020 and were so impressed with how David the divemaster handled our time together, that we chose to use his company again to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary this year (2025) in October. We also brought another couple with us to share the private tour. A couple of days prior to using H20 Bora bora we decided to do some extra dives with another local company in Bora bora. There were 2 groups of divers (9 total with 2 divemasters). Everything felt rushed and stressful which is never a good idea when diving. Our friends who are fit marathon runners each ran out of air towards the end of one of their dives. It was interesting to observe that the divemaster was not only very happy to share his air with them but also in no rush to end the dives and head to the surface. Instead, he stayed attached to our friends (one per dive) and showed off by creating rings of bubbles to entertain us. Note, we didn't do deep dives so the safety stop could have easily been shortened to bring our friends up to the surface which would have made us all feel safer and more comfortable. H20 Bora bora on the other hand, reviewed hand signals, safety details and the dive plan ahead. David never rushed us, letting us gear up at our own pace. None of us ran out of air, we felt very safe, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed both our dive and snorkel experience. Having the combination of diving and snorkeling allowed for multiple opportunities to spot Eagle Rays, Mantas and Sharks as well as enjoy the Coral Gardens with its multitude of colorful fish and healthy clams and corals. We were also fortunate enough on our dive to be up close with a graceful female Manta ray which was incredible and a definite highlight. Comparing both diving experiences, all 4 of us agreed that H20 Bora bora was so much more enjoyable and a tour that we look forward to repeating. H20 Bora bora is a small, locally owned private dive and snorkel company that is not only experienced and safety conscious but worth every $. The boat is comfortable, the equipment in quality condition and the overall tour is top notch. We highly recommend H20 Bora bora for your next Dive and Snorkel excursion in paradise.

Fantastic experience diving and snorkeling! - David and Matte(sp?) guided us on a wonderfully day of scuba and snorkeling. It had been some time since our last dive and David took very good care to reacquaint us with the sport. We talked about options for dive site and made the decision to try to see manta rays. We were fortunate to see many over the course of our dive! David consistently checked to make sure we were comfortable and was patient on our descent. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for being so long since our last dive. Matte showed us the rest of the island and we stopped to snorkel to see eagle rays and the coral gardens where there was an abundance of sea life. We truly felt cared for during our time on the boat. We would certainly recommend using them and if we find ourselves in bora bora again, would utilize their services.

An unforgettable day on the water - Very friendly and enthusiastic received, many explanations about marine life and Bora Bora. I did a swim, while my husband and children snorkeled above me. Both diving and snorkeling seen the manta rays, simply beautiful! After the dive to a Coral Garden go snorkeling together, seen a lot of fish, a lot of marine life. Then stopped to admire a large school of eagle rays. An unforgettable day, thank you!

AWESOME day on the water with H2O! - My husband and I had a fantastic day on the water with David at H2O Bora Bora during our Winstar cruise stop. We did 1 dive in the morning and David was so helpful and stayed with me as I was a little nervous. It was exhilarating! We then did 2 snorkeling stops. The first stop we saw a manta ray and the second stop was at an amazing coral garden. The most beautiful and abundant fish everywhere and gorgeous coral with blue and purple clams everywhere. It was very cool… David seemed to know all the special spots to see as much fish as possible… after our tour we were dropped off at Bloody Mary’s for lunch and we taxied back to the dock to catch the tender back to our ship. Our half day dive/snorkeling tour was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! I highly recommend booking with H2O if you’re visiting Bora Bora.

Incredible - David picked us up on the pontoon of our hotel and showed us the jewels of this beautiful island of Bora Bora. On the program a dive during which we observed 2 manta rays (our dream together) and infinite fish. We also stopped at the Coral Garden near the airport, just amazing (the keyword of our stay) for its colors and varieties of fish and coral. Other small snorkelling stops on the western part of the island lagoon where we saw eagle and pastenague rays.. Very rich moments and full of beauty. Thank you David for this unforgettable sharing! 5 STAR private combo tour! - Amazing dive/snorkel combo tour!! Aimee was so friendly & prompt with messaging and David was an excellent guide! Beautiful dive trip - A very nice morning with David, who was our guide for a bottle dive and two snorkeling spots. Our family was alone with David on his comfortable boat (drinks and towels included). Diving was great with the appearance of a manta ray. For our youngest, whose baptism we couldn't have dreamed of better. David was very attentive, very professional and respectful of nature. Snorkeling spots allowed us to see eagle rays and a coral garden full of fish. We recommend very very warmly.

A must do for water lovers - We were a private group of four new divers. Three of us recently certified and one non-certified. We chose H20 as they offered both diving and snorkeling in the same tour. We also liked the fact that they were a small operation and wanted to support them especially during this challenging pandemic. We are really happy with that decision. We booked two combo private tours a few days apart on our trip and were fortunate enough to see a green turtle, a school of eagle rays and 2 large mantarays whilst snorkeling. Just incredible!! Our divemaster David was fantastic and his wife Aimee really responsive to emails and answering any questions we had. They even suggested putting new mouthpieces on the regulators for extra peace of mind during the Covid-19 pandemic. David really listened to our diving concerns and paid attention to detail. He was determined for us to have a fun experience yet with close attention to safety. We chose the Aquarium for our first dive with a maximum depth of 17' which was perfect for my husband's and my first ocean dive ever! We saw a huge moray eel, an abundance of colourful fish and beautiful corals. David was kind enough to take some photos of us too which was really appreciated. For our second dive, the weather was stormy but after waiting a while it settled down enough for us to safely head outside of the reef. My husband and I were particularly nervous as this was going to be a deeper and rougher dive than the first but David took care to make sure we were reassured and kept safe leaving us to enjoy the smooth waters below. It was somewhat surreal being around 40' deep and looking up and seeing a school of barracudas swim by as well as black tip reef sharks. As we approached our safety stop you could see the rough waters at the surface but it was just amazing how calm it was just a few feet below. We highly recommend taking the combo diving and snorkeling tour as when you are snorkeling it is like looking through a window but when you dive it is like being inside an aquarium with the marine life. The best of both worlds in one tour!.

Unforgettable - Fantastic tour with knowledgeable and committed guide who did everything for his guests on board. We had different knowledge of snorkeling but it was no problem because the guide was responsive to everyone's levels and adapted the tour so everyone was happy!
