- Bora Bora - This small group excursion takes you on a tour of the lagoon onboard fast and comfortable boats, equipped with sun canopy for an enjoyable sun protection while cruising from one to another snorkelling spot (8 passengers maximum).
During this unique experience, you will discover pristine marine areas of the lagoon led by our qualified and passionate guides. Depending on the weather and wildlife behaviour on the day, you will visit between 3-4 spots:
First thing in the morning, you’ll head to the Manta Rays feeding ground to spot these underwater angels, before cruising to discover two renowned local coral gardens. If the conditions allow, you’ll also spend time looking for the Eagle Rays.
Your guide will jump in the water with you to point out the different species and help out where required people who are not comfortable swimmers. For people who have never snorkelled or are not confident swimmers, we recommend our private tours for a more personable experience during which the guide will be able to focus all his attention on you. An incredible once in a lifetime experience - Mana took us to 3 incredible snorkeling spots. Firstly to see the coral garden - like swimming in a life size aquarium - colours can not be replicated on photos. We then were taken to where the manta rays are ‘cleaned’ by fish - very fortunately we were rewarded with an incredible time with a manta ray. Last but certainly not least we were taken close to the reef to swim with black tipped reef sharks and sting rays. 3 fantastic experiences that will never be forgotten.

Fantastic snorkeling trip - This snorkel trip had everything we wanted: Mana the guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He answered all our questions! He picked us up on time and took us to snorkel with rays, sharks, and then to the coral gardens to swim with other fish. Afterwards, he serenaded us with the ukulele while we enjoyed snacks & cold drinks.

1/2 day snorkeling trip - Cruise tour was full so booked with reef discovery. An excellent tour, boat was small and intimate with only 7 guests. Allowed us to access smaller/shallower areas. Mana the captain was awesome, he even sang and played the ukulele for us. Very talented. Highly recommend!

Tons of snorkel fun!! - Morning snorkel excursion that exceeded expectations. Made 5 different stops. Sharks, stingrays, coral gardens, and more. Guide was funny and informative. Highly recommend!

It was as promised!... - It was as promised! Probably the best excursion of our cruise so far. We observed Spotted Eagle Rays, Manta Rays, Black Tipped Sharks and a coral reef that gave a wide variety fish including an octopus, stonefish, and colorful fish and coral.

Perfect family day with manta rays, eagles rays and even a seahorse！ - We had an absolutely amazing time on the Reef Discovery tour! Our family, from grandparents to kids, loved every second of it. The highlights were definitely swimming with the manta rays, eagle rays, stingrays, and even lemon sharks—but the magic moment was finding a seahorse in the coral garden!
A huge thank you to our guide, who was incredibly attentive and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable, especially the non-swimmers in our group. It made all the difference for the grandparents and little ones to be able to enjoy this experience without any worry.
It’s not often you find a tour that perfectly balances adventure with safety, but this one nailed it. Highly recommended for families

Mana is an excellent... - Mana is an excellent guide. He knew all of the good locations. We saw three manta rays multiple times up close. We swam with sharks, stingrays, and lots of reef fish. He went to swim with us to keep us safe.

Must-do excursion in Bora Bora! - Great small group water activity & lovely snorkeling! Our guide Mana was friendly, safe & had good tips for we 4 adults. He also pointed out lots of sites/resorts along the way. Very nice/clean boat with a strong ladder for getting back into the boat easy too! We’d def return to this excursion & company; very easy to coordinate our pier pick-up. Thanks again Mana!
