Leh - Arrive by flight at Leh. Welcome to Leh! Few places in India are as traveler-friendly and captivating as the mountain-framed Leh. The Old Town, adorned with stupas and ancient mudbrick houses, is dominated by a steep rocky ridge crowned by a majestic Tibetan-style palace and fort.

Leh (arrival)
Leh - Arrive by flight at Leh. Welcome to Leh! Few places in India are as traveler-friendly and captivating as the mountain-framed Leh. The Old Town, adorned with stupas and ancient mudbrick houses, is dominated by a steep rocky ridge crowned by a majestic Tibetan-style palace and fort.
A private car will collect you from Leh Airport and take you to the hotel. Check-in upon arrival. [NOTE: Standard check-in time is 12:00 pm] The day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Relax and acclimate to Leh’s high altitude. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.
Leh (local sightseeing)
Thiksey Monastery - After breakfast, embark on local sightseeing. Visit the 17th-century Leh Palace, offering breathtaking views of Stok Kangri and the Ladakh mountain range from its rooftop. Explore Shey Palace & Monastery, built in 1665 by the King of Ladakh (Deldon Namgyal) as a summer retreat. Then, visit Thiksey Monastery, a stunning example of Ladakhi architecture, located 20 kilometers from Leh. It is renowned for its resemblance to the Potala Palace of Lhasa.
Return to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.
Leh (local sightseeing)
Alchi Monastery - After breakfast, set out for a full day of sightseeing; visit the Hall of Fame (a renowned museum built by the Indian Army); Gurudwara Pathar Sahib (a beautiful Sikh Temple built in 1517 to honor Guru Nanak Dev’s visit to the Ladakh region), Magnetic Hill, and Alchi Monastery (featuring artistic and spiritual elements of Buddhism and the Hindu kings of that era in Kashmir, with wall paintings, large Buddha statues, and intricate wood carvings and artwork — almost baroque in style). Also, visit Sangam (the confluence of the Zanskar & Indus rivers), a picturesque site.
Return to Leh by evening and visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed stupa on a hilltop in Chanspa, built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura, as part of the Peace Pagoda mission.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.
Leh – Nubra Valley
Nubra Valley - After breakfast, drive from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass (18380ft) – one of the world’s highest motorable roads. The valley is approximately 159 km from Leh. The route includes Leh – Phyang – Khardung La – Khalsar – Diskit – Nubra Valley.
This valley is a pristine destination for those seeking tranquility and interaction with the tribal community of Ladakh. The Sasser Pass and the renowned Karakoram Pass of the Silk Route fame lie to the northwest of the valley, connecting Nubra with Xinjiang (China). You will also encounter the goats that produce the famous Pashmina shawls.

Nubra Valley (local sightseeing)
Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake
Pangong Tso - After breakfast, drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake. This endorheic Himalayan Lake is situated at an elevation of about 4,350 m (14,270 ft). It stretches 134 km (83 mi) from India to China.
Check-in to the camps offering unparalleled views of the surrounding mountain ranges and a stunning view of Pangong Lake. Its water is salty, crystal clear, and exhibits a beautiful shade of blue, especially when the sun shines brightly. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. You can also experience a Yak Safari.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camps near Pangong Lake.
Pangong Lake – Leh
Hemis Monastery - After breakfast, drive from Pangong Lake to Leh. En route, visit Hemis Monastery, the largest monastic institution in Ladakh. It is the wealthiest Buddhist monastery in India, known for its rich collection of ancient relics, including a copper statue of Buddha, and stupas made of gold and silver. The monastery also houses sacred Thangkas, murals, and various artifacts.
Arrive in Leh in the evening and check-in at the hotel. The evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Leh.
Leh (departure)
Leh - After an early breakfast, check-out from the hotel. A private car will take you to Leh airport for your return flight.
