The guide will lead participants quietly through one of Europe’s largest renaturation projects: Leipzig’s New Lakeland. Where lignite was extracted 35 years ago, there now lies an impressive lake landscape, interwoven with a dense network of paths and lined with inviting excursion venues.
Enjoy an engaging journey into the countryside. Discover the wild floodplain forest, the expansive meadows of the Elster, and the crystal-clear Lake Cospuden.
The unique aspect of this tour is its exclusivity. There are no other guests, allowing participants to set their own pace, share their ideas, and customize the tour to their preferences. A rental bike of choice is available as an option.
- We offer rental bikes as new as 28 - inch low-level bikes. City bike : 10,00 Euro per person, e-bike : 15,00 Euro per person, bicycle helmet : 2,50 Euro per person. Payment in cash on site.
