• Leipzig - The tour begins in the city center and travels through Clara Zetkin Park to the Elster floodplain. From this point, a cycling path takes participants to Lake Cospuden. As the route circles the lake, sights include the diocese height and Zöbigker Hafen. The journey continues past Kees’ Park and the Southern Shire Forest. The trail then returns through Clara Zetkin Park, concluding in the city center.

The guide will lead participants through one of Europe’s largest renaturation projects: Leipzig’s New Lakeland. Once a lignite mining area 35 years ago, it now boasts an impressive lake landscape, interwoven with a network of paths and dotted with inviting excursion spots.
