Alesund food tour - We received a lovely food tour with Rygnor and Nora in Ålesund. We were treated to local fish, sausage, a sweet treat and the best local fish soup. Everything was tasty! We enjoyed it so much that we visited one of the stops for dinner that evening. They were also both very personable and shared a tasty portion of local knowledge

A great and tasty way to look around Alesund - This was a very enjoyable and informative way to see Alesund and learn about its history. Rigmor was our guide and the meeting point was just a 5 minute walk from where our Ship was moored. We were the only people on the tour which was great as you got all the information you needed. It was like going for a stroll with an friend and could chat and ask questions on Alesund and Norway. She showed us all the landmarks and the sun shone throughout! The stops for food were not places you would think about going in, howeve they were very varied and all very tasty. Thanks Rigmor

A great Alesund experience - We had a wonderful experience. We were hoping for a nice tour but our guide and the tour exceeded expectations. Every food stop was excellent, and her stories and history perspectives were fun and informative. Also, the pace felt relaxed and almost leisurely, and she was patient with our many questions and comments. I leave Alesund with a deeper appreciation of the town and the people. I would urge any visitor to sign up for this tour.

Perfect Way To Experience Alesund - Just the perfect way to experience Alesund. Walking and eating with a fantastic local guide Monica. Really engaging knowledgeable and funny. It was only myself and my wife on the tour. Met at the Joachim Ronneberg statue just across from the quay. We lucked out with the weather, which was lovely and sunny. Then wandered about at a very easy pace with Monica chatting to us about Alesund history, architecture, Norway and its people. Was like chatting with a friend. In between we sampled local delicacies at some local institutions which we loved. 😋😋

Wonderful. - Led by our informative and companionable guide, Rigmor, we explored picturesque Alesund, taking many photos and enjoying tasty food as we went. We visited 5 very different venues where we were treated to a variety of dishes ranging from nibbles to ‘main’ courses to dessert and coffee. Each place was unique in its own way - 2 boasted water front views - and the food was great. We were full by the end of the tour. Rigmor was an excellent guide, showcasing her lovely town and its history. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Perfect combination of guided city tour and culinary delights - We were completely satisfied. We had a German speaking guide who presented us with 5 culinary Unpacked from Norway. She shone with a lot of general knowledge and could answer every question. The food and venues were great. We tasted and experienced a lot. Thank you for this insight into Norwegian cuisine.
