- Liabygda Ringsetskiftet - 10. ViewPoint by the sea. As we head to the ViewPoint by the sea, we pass the historic Rose Church in Stordal, constructed in 1789. Another stunning ViewPoint is near Liabygda. To the left, observe a salmon fish farm, and to the right, the town of Stranda, home to the Grandiosa pizza factory. Across the fjord, the waterway leads to Geiranger and Hellesylt. On the mountain to the left, you can spot the mountain farm Skrednakken, visited by Norwegian Queen Sonja some years ago. Remember to capture some beautiful photos.
- Gudbrandsjuvet - 20. Gudbrandsjuvet is a river gorge in the Valldøla river. The river flows dynamically between gorges and mountain crevices, meeting at unexpected angles before passing under the bridge and cascading further down the valley. The gorge is partly shaped by several large potholes. This water feature is a popular tourist attraction, with platforms and bridges crafted from a mix of glass and rusted iron in both walls and floors. A cafeteria and free toilets are available here. Don’t miss their delicious Salmon baguette!
- Krikebrua - 25. The old bridge at Krikebrua is a marvel of nature! This is one of the most remarkable stops on our journey. We pause at a small area with free toilets and benches for resting. We then hike together for about 3 to 4 minutes across the road to see an old bridge (constructed in 1891) and a stunning waterfall and river above. The bridge is made entirely of rocks, with no concrete or steel in its construction. Please use the bins on the bus for your trash.
- Trollstigen - 30. Trollstigen ViewPoints is the highlight of our trip. There are two ViewPoints available; one is a 5-minute walk, and the other, the best one, is a 10-minute walk from the bus. The path to these viewpoints is paved with concrete and has sturdy safety fences. A souvenir shop and free toilets are available at Trollstigen. A cafeteria offers sandwiches, coffee, and soft ice cream, along with hot meals.
- Trollstigen foothill viewpoint - 35. We descend from Trollstigen towards Trollstigen Gjestegård, stopping for photos after Stigfoss. This stop is available from July 15, 2025.
- Trollstigen Drift As - 40. This is the final stop on our journey. Trollstigen Gjestegård features a large souvenir shop and a cafeteria. Restrooms are also available.

Fantastic, relaxing, and invigorating all in one! - Trond is an outstanding guide. He's exceptionally organized, which made the entire day of sightseeing enjoyable and stress-free. He curated a breathtaking set of stops so our family (mom/dad/21 year old son/19 year old son) were never bored. We all loved it!

Well worth it! What an amazing day! - Awesome tour! Amazing guides! Great stops! Super organized with a detailed program provided with pictures and descriptions and the exact timetable for the day. Never seen anything so organized yet so easy and relaxed. Might be the best land tour we have ever taken!

Excellent Tour! - Our tour guide was waiting for us, as promised, at the appointed time and place. The mini van was clean and comfortable and he continuously gave us information and history as we drove to the various sites. He was fun and we could all hear him, even in the back. We had several rest stops along the way and the lunch provided was excellent and filling. I would highly recommend!

Stunning - Incredible experience, I had underestimated how breathtaking the views would be. One of the most beautiful places I've been to on earth - in spite of the trolls.

Ålesund and Trollstigen Tour - We enjoyed the small tour group size and the personal attention of our guide. He was very knowledgeable and kept the tour fun filled and enjoyable. Great stops along the way to Trollstigen.

Trolls and fjords in Alesund - This trip was a must see and do in Alesund Norway- The guide was amazing and very informative and interesting. It was well worth the trip!

Trip to the Land of the Trolls - We had a small group of 7 of us travelling in a spotless minibus with our driver, Øyvind, being our guide. The meeting point was just outside the port area and easily found. We were given information booklets about our trip which had details about each stop, timings, distance and whether there were toilets or refreshments.
Øyvind was a good, safe driver. He wore a headset and microphone and could be heard clearly. All of the stops were interesting and picturesque and there was about the right amount of time staying at each stop.
We had a picnic lunch of open sandwiches, freshly picked strawberries and hot blackcurrant- delicious.
We enjoyed the tour, not too much driving, as we had stops to break up the journey, lots of interesting information and some stunning scenery.
Øyvind was great and we would recommend going on the tour.

Alesund Beauty. - This was a wonderful excursion. The minibus was nice and comfortable, the group size was small and the timing was just as promised. We received a nice booklet of our tour stops, a surprise picnic and enjoyed the wonderful strawberries from the area around Valldal. Unfortunately we didn’t get to drive on the Trollstigen roadway and that was already known due to the road closure. The places we saw and stopped at were amazing! Would highly recommend this tour, the tour guide, and visiting Alesund!

Troll Road lookout is the Star of the tour - This was a very good tour that our family of four really enjoyed. The first few stops were ok but the Troll Road lookout is definitely the star here. It was so breathtaking that any pictures you may have seen do not do it justice. It really made it worth the tour. The soft ice cream is a bit overrated but it is unique and we enjoyed it. Our tour guide was very good.
