Arrival in Leticia

Leticia - The adventure begins at Leticia’s airport. After settling the tourism tax, a friendly local guide will greet you. Your initial destination is the San Antonio Indigenous Reserve. To explore this community, you’ll trek through the jungle, discovering the medicinal properties of traditional plants. Enjoy a delightful lunch and take some time to relax. Spend your first night in this reserve, with the option to sleep in hammocks.

Visit the Flor de Loto Natural Reserve

Amazon River - On the second day, savor breakfast before returning to Leticia to embark on a new adventure at the Flor de Loto Natural Reserve. Depending on the season, you’ll either navigate the flooded jungle or walk through it to reach the site. Here, you can engage in various activities such as birdwatching, canoeing or kayaking, artisanal fishing, a night excursion, and swimming in the lake or the Amazon River (season permitting). Spend a night here, completely unplugged.

Leticia to Puerto Nariño

Puerto Nariño - Start the day with breakfast, then take a boat ride to Puerto Nariño, a charming car-free town with stunning views. After a brief walk and a local lunch, you’ll explore the surrounding communities, visit the lookout tower, craft shops, significant historical monuments, and more. As the day winds down, a Tikuna indigenous family will invite you to dinner in their maloca. Conclude the evening with a nocturnal walk before returning to your accommodation for rest.

Cacao Island in Peru and Ecological Hike

Puerto Nariño - Following breakfast, board another boat to visit the Peruvian community of San Antonio, also known as Cacao Island. Here, you’ll explore an ecological trail developed by the community to observe, study, and protect primates, birds, and especially sloths. After the tour, enjoy a traditional lunch and return to Puerto Nariño. Make a final stop at the Correo Lakes to search for pink and gray dolphins and enjoy a swim in its natural waters. Return to your accommodation for your last night. (A nocturnal safari can be arranged if desired)

Puerto Nariño - Leticia

Leticia - On the final day, after breakfast, visit the Natutama community project. This center, established by locals, focuses on learning about and promoting the conservation of this region. After the visit, return to Leticia and proceed to the airport for your departure.
