Leticia - The adventure begins at Leticia’s airport. After settling the tourism tax, a local guide will greet you. You’ll have the opportunity to explore Leticia briefly. Once prepared, you’ll head to the Brazilian border of the Amazonas: Tabatinga. Additionally, you’ll visit the malokas, the traditional homes of indigenous communities, and gain insights into their culture. To reach these, you’ll trek deep into the rainforest, equipped with rubber boots provided by the guide. You’ll spend the night in a Maloka.
Leticia - Puerto Nariño
Puerto Nariño - On the second day, following breakfast, you’ll travel by boat to Puerto Nariño, a charming car-free town with stunning views. After a brief walk and a delightful local lunch, you’ll explore the nearby communities, visit the lookout tower, craft shops, significant historical monuments, and more. As the day concludes, a Tikuna indigenous family will host you for dinner in their maloca. The evening will end with a nocturnal walk before returning to your accommodation for rest.
Cacaro Island in Peru and Ecological Hike
Lago Tarapoto - On the final day, after breakfast, you’ll board another boat to visit the Peruvian community of San Antonio, also known as Cacao Island. Here, you’ll explore an ecological trail established by the community to observe, study, and protect primates, birds, and especially sloths. Following the tour, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch and return to Puerto Nariño. A final stop at the Correo Lakes will offer a chance to spot pink and gray dolphins and enjoy a swim in its natural waters. You’ll return to your accommodation for your last night. (A nocturnal safari can be arranged if desired)
Puerto Nariño - Leticia
Leticia - On the last day, after breakfast, you’ll visit the Natutama community project. This center, developed by locals, focuses on learning about and educating others on the conservation of this region. After this visit, you’ll return to Leticia and proceed to the airport for your departure. Join us for an unforgettable adventure in the Amazon Jungle.
