Etna Winery Trip - Well organised and thoroughly enjoyable visit to the winery. The Gambino team couldn’t have been more welcoming and very informative.

Nice tour - Good. A full bus up to a vineyard at about 800m altitude up on Etna. We got a glass of white Sicilian white wine when we arrived. One of the staff told me about the farm. Here was the only negative. If you hear badly or stand far back, you hear nothing. We later gathered at a long table with div delicacies. We first got two glasses, a white Sicilian and a rose from Etna to feel the difference. Then two red, one Sicilian and one from Etna. Time for photography and a look at the sales on site. Overpriced wines for us. Travel back to Taormina. The guide was nice, told a lot of story, wine differences etc.

A great experience - The tour was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The tour guide was very informative about the area and cared that we all had a positive experience. The winery experience was excellent with generous wine tasting and highly knowledgeable advice.

Fabulous Cheese and Wine Tour + Amazing Customer Service - I did the cheese and wine tour with Sicily Excursions and it was fabulous – really good value for money. The wines were excellent (with plenty of top-ups if you asked!) and the whole experience was set in a stunning landscape. When I got back to Taormina, I realised I’d left my Ray-Ban sunglasses on the coach. I was absolutely gutted as I had a 3am flight, and thought they were gone for good. I messaged Greis and Maya at Sicily Excursions and they went above and beyond – contacting the coach driver, who kindly brought the sunglasses back. I arranged for a courier to ship them back to the UK, and Greis and Maya made sure they were safely wrapped and labelled. Overall, a brilliant tour and a company run by genuinely honest and caring people. Highly recommend!

Lovely tour - Was a lovely experience, beautiful wine and gorgeous views. Very large tour group though to be prepared for. Flexible with a few pick up stops and they allowed us to store bags on the bus. Isabella was a knowledgeable and friendly host, as was Francesca once we got to Gambino.

Prepare to drink a lot of wine - The wine tasting is 5/5, but giving it a 4 because there was no village tour. We drove through the village and went straight to the winery. The winery was luxurious and generous, and had a beautiful spot for taking photos. The guide's narration during the drive was also very informative.

NOT THE TOUR THAT IS DESCRIBED - BEWARE - Web description is not accurate. Our group of four purchased tickets based on details of a 6 hour event with wine tasting and a visit to Linguaglosso to walk around and see the ancient city. This tour was not even 4 hours total and it is only 1 wine tasting with some small bites. When I asked the guide about the visit to the village, she said the web description is wrong, they didn’t have time (??) and that ‘there is nothing to see there anyway’. So rude. We would not have bought these tickets to spend almost 4 hours to do one wine tasting.
